How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

If you are driving SUV, be careful. Drive through to parking is narrow.
Room was celan, very friendly staff and breakfast was delicious.

I stayed 5 nights. The first night I stayed in a very claustrophobic small room with very low ceiling, the staff was so kind to move me to a better room for the remaining 4 nights. WiFi was a struggle, it kept falling off. Breakfast is simple and the breakfast room could be better attended, but overall the pro's outweigh the cons.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Good quiet location. They gave me a room upgrade after the first night.

Breakfast is not as good as you might expect. There are some things to eat but after a few days we decided to eat breakfast somewhere else.
Nicely situated hotel, very close to SamYan metro station (just a 3-4 minutes walk). Great neighbourhood, close to Patpong market (nice food), shops and one more time - metro station. From there you can go to almost every place you want to see and the connection with airport is great (about 60baht per person to get there). Hotel has good mattresses. For this price is a great choice.

Fridge sensor had broken so almost everything in fridge froze overnight including water bottles which cracked (they tried to charge me for this) Also shower curtain rail kept falling off wall and the sink wasn’t plumbed level. Only little annoyances really. Also the room price changes almost daily. I checked the same 3 dates with Booking.com and found the same room for $30 cheaper 🤷🏼♂️
Stayed here a few times over the years and is still a good central option. Its clean quiet and comfortable and most of the staff are very friendly

The hotel is located on a narrow street. A convenience store, 711, is nearby, so you can buy everything there when you feel hungry. The water in the bathroom did not flow well.
Simple breakfast was so good. I also enjoy the hospitality of the staff and they can communicate with English well. I also really enjoy the cleanliness of the hotel.

The walk to the next metro station is through side alleys. If I would have travelled as a solo female traveler I would not have appreciated walking there after dark. Also not many nice cafes or similar in walking distance. However you can jump on the metro.
Clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast - toast, eggs, thai options, fruit and cereals.

The only downside of my stay was the WiFi being down for a day. Other than that, everything was delightful.
This accommodation in Bangkok was a cozy haven in the heart of the city. Despite the bustling surroundings, the warmth and attentive service from the staff made me feel right at home. The comfortable, well-appointed rooms were a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. Truly a blend of homely comfort and vibrant Thai hospitality!

The bathroom is not very comfortable, there are no toothbrushes or toothpaste (you need to request), but there is hot water, which is a plus. Tea and coffee are included in the price, but bottled water and disposable tableware are not included. High audibility of sounds from the corridor.
Very convenient location for visiting the Russian Consulate. Excellent staff, they helped with everything, it’s convenient that the reception desk is 24/7. Delicious breakfast, really liked it. The room size is sufficient, there is all the necessary furniture, a spacious wardrobe and table, a comfortable bed.
