The bathroom is very basic - a shower curtain would really help preventing the entire toilet getting wet when you shower. Still clean and rustic - what you'd expect from any property on Phi Phi. Expect to climb a few stairs - wasn't a problem for us but might be for others

Good and quite as it's located slightly away from the centre of Phi Phi but still a short 10 minute walk to the centre / beach. Great pool and comfortable bed / room. Great staff, helpful and welcoming.

We should have been collected from the pier but the staff missed us and we were left to find the accommodation ourselves in 35c heat with 2 kids - fuming to be left to our own devices - but hard to be angry at the staff who were all very good.

The location is an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Phi-phi. Minutes walk from the action with out the noise. Nice little pool and our rooms were right outside.

The room was very close to the swimming pool, some guests were a little noisy at night.

It was a bit of a steep climb up to our room but definitely manageable. I noticed a toenail that definitely wasn't mine or my partners on the bath matt when we arrived. Other than that, everything else looked cleaned.

The pool and surrounding greenery was lovely. The staff were very friendly, especially the young man that met us at the ferry drop off point and carried all our luggage. It was nice to have the complimentary drink on arrival. The bed was very large, our room had a small deck and a nice view. Toiletries and bottled water were available. On our last day the staff allowed us to store our luggage after checkout time for a few hours then their staff met us at the ferry when it was our time to leave.

The room we got on our first day in the nearby hotel wasn’t nice at all. Had a malfunctioning AC and the beds weren’t nice either.

The property and the staff are amazing. I was told by the staff that the AC of our designated room isn’t working so we were shifted to another property for a day. That room wasn’t good and the AC was barely functioning. The next day when we were shifted to our original room, I breathed a sigh of relief. This room was much better and the property had a good pool too. The room was aesthetically decorated and gave the rustic feeling of a chalet. The staff is very helpful and will always try to help you. We got free luggage pickup and drop from the ferry and the staff was helpful to add an hour for our checkout. I would stay here again and hopefully I get to stay in my originally booked room 😄

The staff at chunut are excellent, very friendly and helpful! The room itself was good, would have been handy to have more than one key to the room! The property is a little out of the main area, which we liked as the centre is rather busy! We would recommend as a great stay when on the island!

Pool closes way too early. It's 15min walk from the beach so it's a bit out of the main area, therefore pool usage would be nice to use after returning in the evening.

The bathroom smells

I guess you have what you are expecting for the price you pay in this popular island. A cool room, clean, with whitish towels and coffee. Toilet began to smell the last (2nd) day. Breakfast is what it is... Very calm spot (with a nice swimming pool) but close to the places to be. Employees are particularly nice and helpful. At the end of the day, this is a good value for money. The staff is super nice

The bathroom smelt SO BAD. I had to block my nose when I was in there. The shower isn’t good either. Our toilet seat was coming off and everything was grimly and gross in the bathroom. Actually the whole entire island smelt bad. Don’t know if it was the wet weather, or the island itself has terrible sewage systems. Also the walk to the resort isn’t nice at all.

Chunut house is away from all the noise! It’s about a 7 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. The pool is nice! Our room was spacious. The staff are helpful with getting your luggage from the pier to the hotel and back to the pier. Breakfast was average we thought. Daily room cleaning service is good

Generally the cleanliness the bathrooms had an awful smell but that’s most toilets on the island. The water from taps was slightly brown which was worrying. The towels weren’t replenished and we was there for 5 nights also were very dirty and discoloured towels

Was in a great location away from all the noise which we liked but only 10 min walk everywhere which is perfect.
