Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great tv and desk to work on overlooking a small lake. Close to everything you need or want plus there's facilities you can use from Rays Hotel next door. The bathroom was huge and well appointed. The best value for money you can imagine!

ThailandAlthough the room was clean, the bathroom, terrace and parking space were not clean. And in the bathroom some repairs needed to be done. (Only for this room type) it appeared not possible to park the car next to the room, because there was not enough space to make the turn from the road. And last but not least, the afternoon sun was shining fully on the huge room windows, which made the room extremely hot in the afternoon. Although it's the cool season we had to close the curtains and switch on the airco.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast and other facilities at the next door Ray Hotel were good.

United KingdomNothing really. It was perfect for our trip. It is tucked away down a little lane and we did wonder where we were going (arrived late at night) I am not sure what else the area has to offer so unsure of its location as a holiday destination but for our trip it was perfect
We were in a little chalet which was great and very private. You have to walk to the Ray Hotel next door for breakfast and to use the pool but its no distance at all and just feels like you are walking through a hotel complex. The benefit of the chalet outweighs walking to the restaurant. Really good breakfast selection with omelettes cooked fresh to order and a good mix of thai and western options. Staff were very helpful, we arrived really late at night. Room was lovely and clean with tea/coffee facilities and a fridge with complimentary water/soft drinks. It was perfect for our trip which was to watch the Moto GP at Chang International Circuit which was about 10 min scooter ride away ( the hotel arranged this hire for us) The grounds of the chalets are really nice set around a large pond with a couple of seating areas.

ThailandArrived and was given poor accommodation, not what I booked. Broken furniture, one double power point in a less than useful position, no international TV, overlooking a filthy canal etc. The staff were non English speaking, not what the website says, however after much talking using a translator I was taken to the Jintana Resort's sister hotel Ray Hotel a short distance away and the staff there sorted me out with efficiency, courtesy and good English. The Jintana was a "train wreck" and my accommodation was dreadful. The hotel claims to have facilities ie. Swimming pool, gym, restaurant etc. They actually share with the Ray Hotel which is 100 metres away. Thanks to the manager and staff at the Ray Hotel my trip wasn't ruined. Buyer beware!!
