The pools were not clean Daily. There was rubbish and glasses left around the pool area for days at a time.. The reception staff were very unhelpful and quite rude. It was our third year returning to this accommodation, which wasn’t recognised by the staff. There was no welcome back. Thank you for coming again there wasn’t even a thank you !!!! The reception staff were truly awful. Not one pleasant person among them..

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Room service every day, changing towels and providing water and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The breakfast was nice . The Porter was always helpful, polite and courteous. We stayed in one of the grand rooms which is a little villa , the hotel rooms were very small

The room was old. A lot of things stop working. No hot water to no water at all to brown water. The private pool stop working. The a/c had hot air and a weird smell when it’s turned on. Wifi connection was bad.

We need not ask for the locker key at the reception. It should be provided with the key card. There was no dental kit, shaving kit in the bathroom. The tea, coffee and creamer were too few and stale. These small things do not cost much but they matter.

Good breakfast. They could add some Indian items too in the breakfast, considering the fact that majority of guests were from India.

In a evening could do with some entertainment and better restaurant. it felt dead in the evening, not like it was a problem for us, as all the restaurants were few steps away. TV could have some movie channels, it meant to be one but it wasn't working.

Rooms where big and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Location excellent. Enjoyed our crazy golf (need some maintenance tho) and gym.

Room was uncomfortable, with two single beds pushed in to one, as well as plug sockets and internet socket behind the pillows. Only one other plug socket in the room, no safe available which should have been as standard. Room didn’t smell fresh, although was visibly clean

We had really high expectations about this hotel as it is a resort in front of the beach and it promised to be really nice. However it actually looks very old and lacks maintenance and cleaning. Some areas even look abandoned. I believe it was a really nice place when it was launched but it hasn't been cared of properly. Our bath was clogged and with many stains.. Honestly we didn't have courage to take a relaxing bath. The beach is also not great, we didn't enjoy it as it had hundreds of jellyfish.

The staff, especially the porters, were very kind! Breakfast was good with loads of options. Pool area is nice. We were afraid of a macaque that was outside of our room and even in our balcony one day, however I'd say it was the high point of this hotel. It was really nice to watch the monkeys in their environment! But if staying there always keep doors and windows closed.

Beautiful setting,large rustic feel wood trimmed room,great breakfast buffet and lovely naturally shaded beach area. 2 adult swimming pools one with swim up bar and a kiddie pool. Perfect place for small kids.

Housekeeping was very slow. I requested for early check-in for official check-in time as 2:00 Pm. Somehow we could reach only at around 2:30 PM still the room was NOT ready. Next day we went out for island trip and came back at around 3:30 PM. I left the keys at reception. Then too there was no cleaning done. I had to call for cleaning and they said it would be done by 5:00 PM. It was done finally in a hurry. On the day of checkout at 7:00 AM morning when I asked help for luggage, i was told that help would be available only after 8:00 AM so we had to drag our luggage from the room till reception. Basically unlike India, here support staff works in strict timing and at their convenience so if you expect anything after their working hours like even water bottles, you won't get it. Message service was available but I could got to know only when I asked then also there was no arrangement for reservation. Seems like spa services are not directly connected to hotel, they just come near pool b/w 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Two more things to mention though I won't consider them as negative. 1) It was bit of walk to go from room to reception or to beach or swimming pool. But I think its expected in a big resort. 2) Most of the resort is like jungle so mosquitos and other animals are expected. My son saw a monitor lizard and was scared. However, some people may actually like this kind of quite and natural environment.

Location was excellent. Its directly connected to the beach and also close to the market area. Rooms were decent. Best part was that we got connected rooms so while kids got separate room & bathroom, we were still in touch. This is single reason for giving at least one rating higher. Swimming pool was nice and breakfast was decent.

Dirty in most areas around the resort. Bins not emptied and over flowing. Reception staff more than useless. Plumbing system needs urgent attention. Blocked toilets and blocked sink in two different rooms. The whole place needs upgrading. Definitely not a 4 star resort.

I had prebooked, which was a mistake. Otherwise, I would have looked for a different resort or hotel. I was in 3 different rooms over 5 days. The first room was terrible, things didn't work, and there was a bad odor. I was upgrading to a very nice room. Then, a violent drunk, apparently in the room above me, woke me at around 2:30 am, lots of yelling, screaming, and very loud banging, even after being spoken to by staff. I never got back to sleep. Changed rooms for my safety at around 3:30am because the violent drunk would be staying where he was.. I was downgraded. I had to cancel plans for a Longtail ride to Raily and a dinner cruise of the islands because I hadn't slept, so I missed a day of holidays and flew 29 hours home without having toured much of the area. Violent drunks are permitted to stay at this resort and ruin others' holidays. If you need to move to be safe, you are moved to a downgraded room. Most of the staff were lovely with the exception of one grumpy front desk woman who made a difficult situation worse.

Facilities were dated. Aspects were not well maintained, for example frayed chairs in the bedroom, holes in the door. Pool was dirty, not maintained well. It seemed the hotel was short of staff at key periods.

There are two pools, we sat around both, the main pool is pleasant with enough beds, the water is very warm, had to be careful walking in as quite slippery. The 2nd pool wasn't great, the area could be so lovely but quite unkempt & the water was dirty, such a shame. The surrounding grounds are pleasant but could just do with a tidy up, more gardeners are needed. Also the beds by the beach are quite old & dirty

The location was superb. Private beach area & lovely quiet area. The pool view room & balcony was very nice. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant, plenty of choice, egg station was very efficient, sometimes a bit slow in replacing some buffet items. I would stay here again because of the location & the lovely room & pool view.

We try to be understanding always and thought maybe the resort just need more staff. We stayed for 5 days. 3x, we arrived from our tours,tired and wanted to rest, our child needing a nap, and it coincided with their cleaning plan. Baby chairs in the restaurant are also not cleaned. After check-out, we only asked if they could help us transfer to the port (which could have been less than 5 minutes with the shuttle) but we were told to just walk along the beach to reach the boats going to Railey. We had two big luggages, three bags, a stroller and a toddler. It was midday. We would have paid extra but we were ignored the moment we checked out which was really sad.

The location is the one big plus with the beachfront and the close proximity to the lively street of Ao Nang. Nevertheless, it's quiet at night. Breakfast is good. There are lots of choices and some warm meals vary from time to time. The room is spacious and bright. Some staffs are friendly. The premises is huge with lots of plants and flowers.

No way to plug in the reading lamp as the plug was in use for the modem. Also I bumped my head coming back into the room from the balcony as the sticker on the glass door was too high for me to see (I am 5'2")
