Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandAlthough at the current rate it’s good value for money, it wouldn’t be for any higher rates (ie high season). Booked a Beachhouse which was alright and had all the necessary basics but was evidently dated and worn. Needs some TLC… Requested a king bed and got confirmation of such but instead had two twin beds pushed together. Considering resort was on what seemed like very low occupancy I think they could have found me a proper king bed. Resort was obviously not full in any way and when I requested a late check-out I was told it wasn’t possible (wasn’t even offered it for a fee at all). Dinner was so so and not worth what they charge. And although breakfast was overall good. I don’t understand why they used juice from concentrate in a place like Thailand where fresh fruits are plentiful…
Beachfront property with a nice long stretch of beach. Bed was surprisingly very comfortable despite being two twin beds pushed together rather than a king bed as requested. Breakfast spread was decent.

United KingdomKayaking hut could have stayed open later.
We loved the facilities - pool area was lovely and clean and so was the beach (be surprised how some of the places didn't keep their private beach clean and tidy but Natai Beach Resort kept it great). We had a go at everything - the kayaking, paddle boarding, table tennis (all of which was included). There was probably a gym but we didn't go looking for that.

GermanyThe hotel appears to be a 3/4-star establishment. The restaurants are expensive and there are limited sports and any activities available. There is also insufficient staff who speaks English well. Sometimes, there are strange incidents at the reception where the staff seem to understand English but suddenly pretend not to when asked for something specific. This behavior is both frustrating and perplexing.
I found it to be quite satisfactory. While the decor and furnishings were a bit dated, they were still in very good condition. The highlight for me was the spacious bathroom, which was well-equipped and provided a comfortable experience. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, with picturesque surroundings adding to the overall ambiance. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay throughout. One of the standout features was the excellent breakfast provided, which offered a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The fact that restaurants and massages inside the hotel-territory were a nice touch, although I did find them to be significantly more expensive compared to similar services offered nearby. The hotel also boasted a fantastic beach area with ample sun loungers, providing guests with a relaxing spot to soak up the sun. Furthermore, there were two restaurants nearby, offering convenient dining options. The possibility to rent motorcycles for exploring the area added an extra layer of convenience to my stay.

NetherlandsThe property is not really well kept: the metal is rusty, stains on doors and ceiling, the iron I requested had by any standards very dangerous cord and the ironing board was hardly promising that your whites remain white after using it.
Good size of the room. Wide beach and clean sand. Friendly staff.

ThailandIt was fine for us for two nights but it's a quiet area and hard to walk to different places or shops so I think having own transport or hiring a driver would be a good idea
We stayed here for two nights so that we could eat at Simon Rogan's new restaurant next door. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind, they booked us a trip to see the sunrise at Samet Nangshe viewpoint (definitely recommend!) and even got one of the staff members to pick us up some sun cream on his way into work as there were no shops around. There are lots of fun activities around the resort like yoga, paddle boarding, petanque, table tennis. Nice pool and pool bar too and the breakfast and food at the restaurant was just right.

GermanyBed was for us a little bit to hard; and in this Villa there are no possibilités to sit outside! With a little rénovation it could be perfect ! There is nothing more to do, if you have no scooter or à car. For us or was perfect, as we wanted only to relax.
It‘s directly near a beautiful beach with clear water. Thé Pool is big and very clean. You have a activities like Pétanque, table tennis, beach volleyball- you have strandtowels, which you can change, you have every day 4 bottles of water, room cleaning is perfect, breakfast with live-cooking omelette- or Thaï Food! Free shuttle to the market every 2nd day!

ThailandWe stayed there for 2 nights before the new year holiday, on the first night we forgot to turn off car lights so the battery was lost and our car couldn't start. The bell man who is working there ( I forgot to ask his name) on 29 Dec 23, is very helpful to check and look out for a battery cable to connect our car within heavy rain. Finally we can restart. I was really impressed this matter 😊 the hotel also cleaned, calm and can swim with a beautiful beach.

MalaysiaIt’s away from everything so having your own transport would be good.
It’s a secluded hotel with its own “private beach”. A good place to just stay and enjoy the hotel facilities and the sea. The sea is a bit rough so there’s no beach/sea activities. Thats made it quiet.
