Old air con unit that did not cool the room on occasions. Told reception when we checked out and they couldn’t care less! No apologies or nothing. Would not recommend this place if you want decent air con. Very old unit.

In general, staffs were not very friendly nor approachable. Rarely greeted us when we entered or exited the restaurant or bars (although we did), we had to physically approach them everytime in order to get some general service.

Amazing accommodation, well-managed and operated resort. Pool-access room was excellent for hot weather. Happy Hour at different times at different bars really gave us joy, as well as early bird discounts for the spa and massage. Excellent location, a short walk to streets where good restaurants and cafes are found.

Nothing major, there was no food and beverage service by the pool.

We loved our bungalow with partial beach view and right in front of a pool - we had the best of both worlds! The breakfast was fantastic, there was something for everyone and very fresh.

1 of the best resorts in khao lak. Beatifull surroundings in the nature. Lovely rooms. Nice pools and quiet beach. Food and service great. Staff was helpfull and friedly.

We were originally put in a room which was the furthest from the reception and beach. The room was a bit tired also so we moved to a beach front bungalow which had been refurbished and much better location.

There are no night stands by the bed which was a little annoying to get up each time for things. Not many activities offered by the resort and evenings were a little dull and boring and since there isn’t much to do near the hotel it was a tiny disappointing.

Amazing view, comfortable, room facilities were good! The beach was WOW and access to it was easy and good. The room we stayed at had a private pool with a beautiful view which made everything amazing.

The only flaw we could find is that staff are starting to use some small motorised vehicles from 6.45, which means the night ended then. Ideally I would prefer to sleep in a bit longer on a holiday.

The beach is stunning, and we liked the way the beach chairs are nestled in. The breakfast is outstanding. The restaurant also serves very good lunch and dinner, way superior than the other resorts we have tried in Khaolak. The rooms are beautiful, also the pools and the gardens. We had an amazing stay.

not enough sun loungers. The main contingent is elderly visitors. the decoration needs updating and the furniture is not modern (we had a superior room). I thought the price/quality ratio was a little overpriced, but if the rooms were updated, the price would be ok.

hotel on the 1st beach line. good breakfast, excellent dinner was at the night party. close to a small town with shops and restaurants, 10 min walk. Nice view from the balcony.

Very annoying that people were putting towels on the sun beds very early in the morning. The hotel rule is no towels before 10 but this isn’t enforced at all. A bit more choice for vegetarians would have been good

Lovely location on a beautiful beach and pool areas were very pretty. Gorgeous room - Jasmine Grand Deluxe - with a really nice bathroom. The food was good and lots of outdoor tables available. Staff in restaurant were pleasant and staff on reception very helpful with transfers and tours.

Hotel clients "reserved" sunbeds by letting a towel on them, even if they don''t come at all or they come later. So this caused a shortage of sunbeds every day. The hotel staff tried to put posters around the beach / pool locations to politely stop clients to "reserve" sunbeds.. but unfortunately people kept doing that. For example, we stayed at the breakfast spot for a little longer and after 9:30 AM there were no sunbeds left.

What a perfect choice for us! Moracea Hotel exceeded our expectations.. the photos don’t do justice to how beautiful is the entire place. It has the most beautiful beach, with greenery, trees, flowers everywhere, a true tropical jungle! We didn’t have problems with mosquitos, if you wonder, but we saw some monitor lizards visitors, scary but harmless! The natural scenery was so perfect, we didn't feel we need to explore other beaches. The staff here takes very good care of the place and of the surroundings! We got a really nice, comfy and big room with sea view (I’m not sure if all of them are like this because we saw a map with many layouts and housing styles). There were many swimming pools, but we enjoyed more the sea. The breakfast buffet was nice, with a good variety of products and the coffee was surprisingly good for a hotel coffee. Pretty close to the city center, some good restaurants were on the main road, at a short distance (10 minute walk). Also, Khao Lak is the perfect location for day trips to National Parks - Similan Islands, Surin Islands, Khao Sok.
