The location was perfect. So easy to get to the main sights. The staff were exceptional in helping us with recommendations for trips, restaurants, etc.

Our stay was great, the staff were really friendly, helpful, accommodating, and caring. Breakfast was delicious and staff always asked us our plans during the day whenever we came down for breakfast. The location was central to a number of tourist sites and it was very easy to get around. The staff offered lots of tips about what to see and do in the area. We arrived a day early because of a flight change and they were able to accommodate us pretty immidately and without issue. This meant we stayed in a different room the first night and then moved to the room we had originally booked. Both rooms were decorated beautifully and were well equipped with towels, toiletries, robes, and slippers. After each day we were out we not only came back to a clean room but also came back to a sweet note on the bed. I would totally stay here again!

Communication prior to arriving was excellent. They arranged for transportation from the airport and gave us advice on tours. We loved the breakfasts and the small touches were really appreaciated. OCBI went the extra mile to make our stay very enjoyable. We will defintely stay there again.

Through no fault of the hotel, there is a major public works project (new underground Metro line) directly across from, and up and down, the street. The noise is not bad, but it is a little unsightly. Should not be a deal breaker though.

The staff was absolutely delightful, kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Bea who was probably the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered in my travels. The night bicycle tour is an absolute must! Fantastic opportunity to see Bangkok in a different way.

Loved everything. The hotel itself is well located for walking around the city and is amazingly charming. We stayed in a suite with a loft and loved the décor and aesthetics. The staff were very attentive and helpful, assisting us with great recommendations and advice for new arrivals in Thailand. The breakfast was fantastic. Absolute 10/10 wish we could have stayed longer and would stay again.

All the staff at Old Capital Bike Inn were so lovely, very welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The location is really wonderful, a short walk to great restaurants, the river, Grand Palace, stunning temples and so much more. Breakfast included a great choice of Thai and western dishes and a great start to each day. Our rooms were delightful, cosy, cool, quirky and comfortable!

The breakfast was amazing. The location was very close to the major tourist attractions, but in a more quiet street. We had a blast on the free bike tour.

Bathroom didn’t have air conditioning and as it was almost an entirely separate unit it got very hot! There was a fan but it didn’t help too much.

Staff were so helpful, could not fault them in any way. Breakfast was brilliant - a great range of options to choose from. We were upgraded to avoid the noise from the roadworks as they had a spare room.

Whilst the major roadworks outside (they are building a new metro station) did not affect our sleep whatsoever, they did detract from the overall ambience. The staff are trying their utmost to be accommodating about this issue. I know many other people have walked around Bangkok from this hotel, but for me personally it was just a little too far out of town. This is again, personal preference, and of course taxis are cheap and plentiful.

This is a wonderful small hotel. The staff are extraordinarily kind and helpful. We felt so welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The room was a great size, and the bed was comfortable. We loved the decor and “old Bangkok” feel of the place. We were sad to have missed the evening bicycle tour of the city.

Really loved everything

I can’t say enough about the kindness and top notch customer service of the owner and staff. They happily were able to accommodate a very early check in for us and were so helpful with tips and recommendations. This inn is so quaint and full of character - very unique! Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend the evening bike tour of Bangkok’s old town. The construction across the street is loud during the day (at times) but certainly not at night. Bed was super comfy in the Queen loft but stairs are quite steep. Overall, highly recommend. Staying at the Old Capital Bike Inn really made our stay in Bangkok memorable.

As an older couple we found the steep stairs in the bedroom a little inconvenient, particularly in the middle of the night.

A quirky, unique hotel- it makes such a change from visiting a chain hotel. The ambience was great and the staff were absolutely superb. The roadworks never bothered us at all.

The King Suite bed was on a mezzanine level with 2-foot bannisters, which felt quite unsafe at night.

Staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us with welcome drinks and snacks. The lobby is well designed, if a bit small. The breakfast was incredible - you will not go hungry.

Soundproofing is very poor, but it is a quiet area, so it was not a problem.

Good location, walking distance to main attractions. The personnel are very welcoming and nice. Breakfast is top notch. The room is vintage designed - liked that a lot. Possibility to buy decent quality wine or beer for a reasonable price.

The pillows were very hard! Having stayed in lots of other places in Thailand, we found the pillows hard in most of them. But softer pillows would be more comfortable.

It is a very small hotel. It feels intimate and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. The decor is quirky - bikes, dark wood, and photos of old Bangkok etc - and we loved it. It's not the cheapest option, but it's good value. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower door in the queen suite only pushed inwards and so was a little cramped when turning on the shower. Sinks are too high or I am too short for the sinks

The staff was great and super helpful! The snacks and breakfast was so yummy. They work with local eateries to provide the breakfast for you. They also have a booklet with a bunch of recommendations which was super helpful

1) There is major construction going on outside the hotel which makes taxi gridlock at times. It did not impact our sleep at night because our room is at back; 2) room is rather small with staying in the room uncomfortable. Bed is a bit hard. Air conditioning is not very effective to bring temperature of room down quickly.

Quirky boutique hotel with a lot of history in walking distance to the main sites in Bangkok. Hospitality is wonderful with every staff doing their best to make your stay a good one. Bella gave us a lot of tips of Bangkok, restaurants and history of the hotel. Breakfast is great in both quantity and quality. Staff provided a packed breakfast given our early flight time.

I stayed here for the second time and once more the hospitality of Jason and his team was great. The rooms are very nice and individually furnished, breakfast is great and they offer guided biketours of Bangkok by night several times per week. Definitely my favorite place to stay in Bangkok :-)
