Only one restaurant open for dinner (the pool bar/restaurant) and the food quality was just average. A bit disappointing.

Nothing except that one receptionist who wasn’t looking very happy, so I felt a bit awkward to talk to her. May be she had a bad day. I didn’t mind so much.

This place stands up to its claim of being a luxury hotel. High quality service and comfort. The staff was the absolute best. Always smiling and greeting you and making sure you are in comfort.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The pool was great, the beach was clean and beautiful, the staff were exceptional, and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The food was fresh, and we loved the regular and special buffets, fire shows and the musician. Staff across the hotel were professional, warm and friendly and genuine during our entire stay.

Beautiful very elegant hotel, attentive staff, wonderful beach- we had the best stay. Breakfast was delicious with great variety, brilliant cooking school. My favourite bit was the stretch of trees between the swimming pool and the beach- beautiful views.

My only fault was the uncomfortable furniture, the couch irritated my back and for the wooden chairs on the balcony had no cushions to ease the pain.

It was amazing. Hotel is really good, staff kind. Beach is clean. Is has a lot Local restaurants near hotel and they are really cheap. The hotel has european food und price are ok. For children has a Kids club. I recommend it!

It was a long distance from Khao lak town and cost a lot to get there and back, maybe a free shuttle would have been great.

Rooms were sometimes made up a little late and dirty towels were taken away but not always replaced. Other than this - nothing!

Wonderful hotel with direct beach access, a lovely garden and beautiful pool. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The Coral Kids Club is great for families with children and generally the resort caters very well to children and their needs. There are several restaurants with attached massage services along the beach. We absolutely recommend this place!

Resort lacks charm, a bit. more decoration in the room and particularly found the landscaping very plain, a bit more tropical planting would enhance the feel of the resort tremondously.

Beautiful rooms. We booked for a garden villa and got an upgrade to a pool villa. The room was clean and well equipped. Spa by the beach was good. Therapist by the name Cat was amazing. The only drawback waas that they had only 1 restaurant for lunch and dinner. Rest all good. Staff, service and product were all top notch.

“Mandatory” hand sanitizing at the breakfast restaurant would be good. Air condition systems are loud on some rooms.

Nice hotel with a lovely setting directly at the beach. The beach is quiet and calm - no noisy boats and water jets. Not much shops and restaurants in walking distance, but it’s not that important when you are here, as the resort are really good. In case you want to see something else than the resort, then there are possibilities. There are a restaurant and bar at the neighbor plot - but do your self a favor and walk 50-100 meter further to “Be friends” restaurant. We felt a better vibe and ambience there. The resort has spa treatments and there are also alternatives 5 meters away on the beach. Taxi available on the other side of the street. Don’t expect to negotiate prices - all are charging 400 baht to go to Khao Lak Center. A mini market is available at the other side of the street and approx. 50 meter away. Other places to visit: Pam’s restaurant (thai) Bang Niang market (check opening days) Ojoei restaurant (sushi) Great breakfast !

Too noisy and hectic at breakfast (too many people and/or restaurant too small), no hangers for the towels in the bathroom, bad smell in the bathroom from the drain in the floor. Rather at the upper limit in terms of price. We would come again but not during peak season.

Resraurant relatively expensive, and since the location is somewhat isolated other dining options are limited. You could walk on the beachand find more restaurants, but at night it is not the most convenient walk

Excellent hotel. Lovely location on a beautiful clean beach with several casual beach restaurants within a 5 minute stroll where you can easily get a table to eat a cheap meal and watch the sunset. There are also other nice beach bars a short drive away e.g. Memories beach bar. Spacious room with huge bed, and travel cot provided for our baby. Good breakfast with lots of choice and eggs cooked to order. Staff were always extremely friendly and attentive. We really liked the little kids club which was a nice room to take our baby after breakfast to play. You can’t leave them there under the age of 4, but there are staff there who will play with the babies so at least we could sit back for a few minutes. I would say I’m not sure how great the kids club would be for older kids. They do scheduled activities e.g. kite flying on the beach for an hour which would be fun for older kids but outside of those activities I think the room might be a bit small and baby-focussed for older kids. Maybe it’s because we were there outside of school holidays so there weren’t loads of older kids. One point for improvement is that the toilet in our room could have been cleaner. It’s as though the cleaners never put the lid down to clean behind the lid. The toilets by the pool could also have been cleaned more frequently. Otherwise the cleanliness was very good. The air conditioning in our room was also very noisy; we probably could have asked for someone to try to fix this but I couldn’t be bothered with people doing that during our stay. However these are very minor points and we really enjoyed the hotel. The lobby is very impressive and the general feel of the hotel is well maintained and modern. Be aware there are oddly no lifts. We had a room on the second floor so had to carry our pram up and down two flights of stairs every time we took it out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would like to return myself.
