There's not much to say here. I like the place, but if you like shiny modern, it may not be for you.

Old world rustic charm, good sized room. Lovely staff. It's right on the beach. In that the Pimalai is further along, it's unlikely the area will be developed further, which has not changed in the last decade. It's quiet with a number of good restaurants nearby - Drunken Sailor and Same Same are both excellent, well established family businesses.

The cleaning of the room was poor, they didn't clean or replaced the cups/glasses we used, didn't leave enough towels, did not restock the tea/coffee/sugar, did not sweep the balcony, etc. Personally if I knew there was a noisy bar next-door I wouldn't have stayed in the hotel (bar plays music from 11am till 11.30pm) Reception staff did not speak enough english so we could make ourselves understood when there was a problem.

The beach and location of the actual resort was excellent, the room was ok and a good size and the food was nice.

The spa was run down and there was a feeling of off-season during high season. Few staff and hardly any food choices at the resort. But the restaurant next door has more than enough!

Beautiful, comfortable and very large rooms and bathroom. Nice and green property with plenty of shade. Perfect location with a breeze coming in every afternoon.

Nothing, but be advised that the why not bar is right nearby and you will hear music until 2200. Great place with fire show!

Cleaning could have been a bit better.

The location and view from the room was stunning. Nice and cozy rooms. There was extremely nice lady working at the brekfast restaurant Who made our daughter every morning a small surprise. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help us.

the only thing is the choices of breakfast was too few

the resort is not very big，yet it has nice beach and spacious room with beautiful decoration.I love the hammock on the balcony.they also provide kayaks(I remember it was 1 hour for free everyday).LOCATION：it’s located in the southern part of lanta，which is far from the center but the beach is better.711 is just a few step away，and several restaurants nearby.btw there is a bar on the beach，they have fireshow at night.STAFF：they are all very nice and polite.we had a nice stay there.

I can find nothing to be unhappy about. A little bit of maintenance on some small issues like towel racks.

The location and decor is brilliant. Just feet from the beach at kantiang bay. Local cafes and 7-11 less than 5 mins walk. Friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was a hassle. A rocking chair and a hammock on the patio over looking koh has and the andaman sea. Perfect

The location is excellent right on the beach with their own small garden with sunbeds where we could find enough shade🙂 The breakfast is good however not extremely many choices.The bathroom was comfy and practical. we had a balcony equipped with a few chars and table. The view was the best you can have. The airconditione worked perfectly without any need to touch it. So what more could we wish🙂😀

Our room was in need of complete refurbishment, flaky paint, grubby corners, bathroom old and well used. Broken blinds at dirty windows, badly fitting doors. We had 2 balconies, one small one which was usable and one large one that was unattractive and dirty with nasty red stains splattered in the wall and floor. The beach and room towels were stained, frayed and threadbare. Need to be replaced immediately. Breakfast choices limited, hot food sometimes cold because burners weren’t alight. Fruit often uncovered. Not enough sunbeds with shade. This hotel could be so much better, management need to take note, we are so disappointed to have to point out these bad issues, and we did when we were there, and the staff were so kind and wanted to make amends so we accepted free massages which were fabulous. It is not a 4 star hotel and if guests arrive with expectations of 4 star quality they will be disappointed. We came straight from a 3 star hotel which didn’t have the advantages of the stunning location, but was far superior in most other ways. Despite all of this we enjoyed our stay at Kantiang and had an amazing holiday. We believe some of the rooms may been refurbished, if you are lucky enough to get one of these, and management make a few changes as above, we would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Good beachy vibe in the evening. Plenty of small bars and restaurants with amazing food within a few minutes walk.Watching monkeys playing on the beach from balcony. Great to awake to stunning views, sounds of birdsong and the sea from our bed.

First few days marred by construction going on immediately above and around our room with horrific noise. When we complained it became clear reception staff did not understand English. Several days later a manager arrived who apologised and gave us a free dinner. Room had a ‘TV guide’ card listing several English stations, including a film network. None were actually available, although satellite tv and DVD player are supposed to be available. When we asked about this the solution was simply to take the card away! There are kayaks in front if the hotel but it was only after asking another guest that we found out these were free for guests’ use. Had to buy own mosquito coils for room. No information on facilities and local attraction etc provided.

Great location and interesting design of rooms with ours facing right on to lovely beach. Room spacious and more like a suite with separate areas. Hammock, day bed and recliner in our own terrace area. Good air conditioning.

You have to take a boat to reach anything on the island. prices quite high.

The beach and views were amazing along with a nice chilled vibe. The grounds and pool are in a perfect setting but just rather tired for example rusty nails sticking out of the pool pebbled area. Staff very nice but literally no-one spoke much English so when asking about bike hire or boat trips we were just told to go up the road and handed some leaflets. Would we go back, yes but is there room for improvement huge yes as well. THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED EVER !! We would go back just for that 😂 xx

the first room 205 for the first 3 days had a leaky toilet hose that housekeeping just put a towel over the puddle so it smells. the bathroom was full of mosquitoes we killed dozens, the toilet seat was broken and there's a Sewage smell. the second room 203 has a loose shower holder and broken toilet lid. the morning buffet fruits cover has holes in them so the fruit flies infested inside the covers on top of the fruits. suggest changing covers

Sleeping at night was an issue with the bar next door. Singer was loud and at one stage finished at midnight. Not great when a restful holiday was what we wanted.

The resort is located right near the bar with live music (every night!) until 1 am. So if you want a nice and chil evenings, be ready to listen to acoustic songs.

The Phra Nang Lanta resort is a great way to spend a few days in Koh Lanta! Rooms are big, with a great ocean view and private outside chilling area.

We stayed here in low season which was great. Maybe it can be very busy during winter and spring. The hotel is next to a very good chill bar. Despite eating and drinking there a couple of times, I would suppose it can be pretty loud until late at night. Fortunalety, our room was far enough from it so that we had a great sleep at nigth.

We really loved this place! The best thing is the space you have. The rooms are huge and ours felt already like a little flat. We also liked the bed, which was super large, too. The bay where the hotel is located is a dream. Another positive thing I would like to mention is the housekeeping. They always managed to find a time slot in a real descreet way and they were super fast. Last but not least, there is a couple of really great restaurants, cafes and spas nearby. I can recommend Sabai Spa for massage and the adjacent seafood restaurant. Also, Drunken Sailor is worth a visit at every thime of the day. Last but not least, try the authentic Indian food and Himalaya.

Low water pressure in the bathroom taps/shower/bath. The pool wasn't very clean with lots of dead insects. At times there was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the room.

The room had really nice decor with the bed facing the beach, hammock on the terrace and thick walls that kept reasonable temperature at night even w/o AC on. Kayaks to rent for free. The area is serene and peaceful, but there are a few restaurants and bars around.
