The room smells misty, it’s very humid so you can smell the humidity in the room. The variety of western dishes at breakfast was a problem for me.

It was central in terms of location, it was close to a lot of places. The beach is a walking distance away and the hotel itself has nice amenities to keep you entertained.

Customer service overall was average with staff somewhat disinterested, noticeable at sunset wing pool bar. Property is dated and general surrounds need upgrading such as sun beds, cabanas and pool and spa areas.

We watched at times the staff at the pool bar (not the main pool bar) be quite short tempered and rude to the customers including ourselves. The buffet isn't as good as it was on past visits. The entertainment for the Songkran festival was a let down. No flow to the acts, the presenter wasn't very good either. It just didn't seem like anything about the show was planned out.

Our room went straight out onto a pool, close to all amenities. The staff at the front desk were lovely. Close the beach.

It was quite noisy at night as people were using the swimming pools until after midnight. The rooms were also noisy and you could hear people in the surrounding rooms. Take earplugs!

No room service before 10am

This is the second time our first was many, many years ago. This time, we stayed at the pool access room(newer section), and we loved it. Yes, the rooms are a little tired and need updating, and I don't think it's a 5-star hotel, but the grounds are immaculate and gorgeous. We loved how easy it was to walk to the main area or how easy it was to get a taxi from the hotel if traveling a little further. The hotel lacked in services, and it was impossible to order a cup of coffee room service before 10 am. The kiddies club were outstanding, and the ladies are exceptional when you book them to babysit at night in your hotel room, truly outstanding. The breakfast spread was ok but not exceptional, and we never ever had a problem finding a table for our group of 12. Most days we ate at 9am. Value for staying at this hotel is extremely good, and if you are traveling with your family, it is perfect for all ages.

Some rooms could do with an update, but they are still comfortable, more variety of cocktails at happy hour would be good to match other bars and resorts, The pools are a little warm, it would be nice if they were a couple of degrees cooler to get some relief from the heat but still great.

The resort itself looks a bit tired, deck chairs broken, often there was a sewerage smell (poo) which was very unpleasant by the pool. The staff by the pool were scarce to take lunch orders, also would be great to have more small tables around with menus on them and a better process to order if you are not next to pool bars. Think we would have spent more money at the resort had this been easier to do.

It was in a great location, across from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, 711, massages. We stayed in the Sunset Deluxe Pool view rooms which were excellent and spacious To ensure we had three rooms together my husband and I were placed in a twin room which was not the end of the world. Breakfast was great, especially once we found the Sunset restaurant option, meals and drinks were very reasonable when we ordered in room or by pool. Staff were all lovely and helpful.
