Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe shower was outside, which wasn't awful, however, the water pressure wasn't great. But that would really be my only complaint. And perhaps make sure to keep your balcony window shut when sleeping or you may wake up to monkeys trying to get into your room like I did- lesson learned there! Haha
I am so glad I choose to stay here! I thought it was cool that they pick you up in a long boat to get to the resort, especially since when the ferry arrives it's just pure chaps thru town so to get on that boat and take in the beauty of the island was really nice. I loved my room and view. I ate lunch there before walking to town (20-30 mins with kind of uneven terrain) and thought the food was delicious. They also had some cats, one who kept me company while I ate, which I enjoyed! Overall, the staff was all friendly, helpful and kind. I really enjoyed it here. Plus there were trails linking up with the resort all around!

GermanyThe way to get there by foot is not the easiest, especially at night. The only other option is to pay for a taxi boat.
Beautiful place, very nice view and a little away from the loud beach parties. Shuttle service to the pier for check in & check out. Also cheap for Koh Phi Phi and even has a balcony.

United KingdomThe location is very far away from the centre and pier, around a 30 min walk through a haphazard path. At low tide walking is 5 mins, there is a taxi boat available for 100bt although if you want a quick walk to the shops this location seems impractical. For us the steps and path were okay although it’s not an accessible location for those less able
Lovely beach huts, and a great view of the bay. Food was nice and good deal, staff were kind and picked us up/dropped us off on the long tail boat

AustriaWe were a little disappointed in the beach since you cannot swim at that spot (due to loads of rocks and crabs) and the 20min you need to get to town were no comfy ones. There's no road and no light at night which makes everything a little annoying when walking home on foot. Other than that you can reach it by the boat.
We really loved the little "tree houses", the view, the animals and the surroundings were amazing and the food (lunch and dinner) was quite good. Our accomodation was really clean too and we received water for each of us per day.

CanadaThe pillows were way to big. It "brokes" my neck. And the Shower/Bathroom have a small connection with the neighbors and you can see a little bit on the other side.
Ths location is perfect! Close to the center but far from the party nights. And perfect to go to the other side where the beach is amazing and its very peacefull. Only a very small hike. The huts are pretty and awesome view, awesome sunset! The workers are amazing !!! Very sweet!

PolandIt is very very loud in night. It's unfortunate, but the reason why Phi Phi island is so lively is because of the non-stop partying that takes place there. Bungalow is very far from the center (one of the last ones on this side of island) so probably this sound could be heard in every localization :(. If you are not young and physically fit, I do not recommend this place. The way from the center to the bungalow is not long (about 20 minutes of walk) but half of it is through jungle without light and good road (stones, roots). You can take boat taxi (100bath each way). It is quite hot in the room and the fans are not enough, as there is no air conditioning. Ants on our bad :( Amazing view is the only reason I would choose this bungalow again, but no longer than 2 nights!
The view from the room overlooking the bay and the sea is simply amazing! It was totally worth it to be there. Bungalow in the middle of the jungle with monkeys saying hi :)

FranceToo bad to hear the beach bar music from the center of the island, very difficult to sleep despite earplugs - but magic quiet location in daytime
Amazing location in the middle of Nature, easy boat transfer, restaurant with limited choice but absolutely delicious dishes (among the very best I had during my holidays!)

EgyptIf you are afraid of monkeys, don’t go there, a lot of insects and mosquitoes, just make sure to get a mosquito repellent. The place is so far away from the center and it’s 20 minutes walking or you can take a boat but the last boat departs at 10:00 pm and the taxi boats do not go there because the water is shallow in front of the place, the walking area is super dark by night
It’s literally in the jungle where there are a lot of monkeys out there, you just need to close the room and all the windows and never leave any food outside

BulgariaThe staff speak basic English, which makes the communication a bit challenging. We booked a 3 beds bungalow, and my son was offered literally a mattress on the floor.

FinlandWalk to the city is not the easiest. I guess you can always take a boat taxi to fix that, but I did not.
I liked the view and the balcony. Also I feel like bungalows are spacious enough. Shower is pretty fun, since it’s under the sky. Also fans do a very good job. There are a lot of monkeys around, and a lot of friendly cats. And they make quite good food in their restaurant and for the food price as well. Also staff are super friendly, and was so great to get there on a longboat.

United KingdomGetting to the property from the town is a bit treacherous as it’s not pathed properly but you can’t blame the hotel for that. There is a lot of monkeys around so you have to keep the doors closed at all times to make sure your property is safe The check out times on here are different to what’s at the property and you will have to keep that in mind as the free long tail boat to get back to the town leaves earlier than expected so you have to walk back to the town with your bags which isn’t fun
The view from this property is incredible and the rooms are amazing with out side showers in the rooms which are cool The staff were very friendly and polite

PolandThe resort is situated in a bay with the most party beach on Phi Phi - the music is blasting until approx. 2 am every morning, making it difficult to sleep even with ear stoppers. We stayed for two nights and it was bearable, but I wouldn't want to spend more nights there considerng the noise pollution.
The location is great if you're okay with a 15 min walk to reach the city - we were, it was nice that the resort was off the beaten track (literally). When you arrive they pick you up at the pier and transport you to the resort by boat, which is super convenient, same with check out. The bungalows were nice, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially at sunset. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was typical for Thailand - an omelette and tost with jam + coffee and tea, it was tasty.
