Not a lot, we had a wonderful stay. After booking last minute so we had a place with air conditioning (our first place in Railay did not) we were more than happy here.

Pool and views, location on Railay East, air conditioning is excellent, water pressure was good. Rooms in the bungalow buildings are spacious and have a very practical setting. Facilities (pool and breakfast) are great and the pool is a wonderful spot to relax in the sun.

Chose as was slightly cheaper than other options on railay, good AC, adequate buffet breakfast and can ask for eggs cooked fresh etc, can walk everywhere and near the pier for leaving railay! Nice pool area

A/c was making random loud noise at night. Bathroom always wet (floor and toilette) because no window. Room had one window and it was facing the pathway so could not open curtains without people looking in. Hotel had multiple ("inactive") floors and all of them were very visibly cluttered with trash and old furniture. Pool looked a bit trashy, too.

Room was clean. Breakfast was plenty. Dresser for clothes was on the bigger side. Cleaning service if you give them the key until 2 pm. There were Washing mashines so it was cheap to clean clothes (but nowhere to hang wet clothes)

I had to ask to clean the room every day otherwise the sewer started to smell really bad and many flies came out of the sewer. Also the AC and the fridge are pretty loud. If you are sensitive to such noise, I recommend you to take ear plugs.

The staffs there are very kind and warm! They are always willing to help. I was happy with the location too. Not so much in the middle of the main street but not too far away from everything!

Cockroaches in the room

In general it is a nice Resort in quieter area than the main beach, which we preferred. Lovely swimming pool, nice breakfast. The bungalows were pretty and fitted to the whole area, with a little terrace. The only fact which made the stay not so much comfortable was the cockroaches in the room. (Which might be something more common in that area, but not at all enjoyable especially with small kids)

Smelled STRONGLY of mildew and our neighbor smoked on his balcony late into the night coughing loudly.

The lady in the reception was not very welcoming and her personality didn’t suit the job. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, but we complained about that and they helped us with making them softer with an extra blanket/layer. The breakfast was OK.

The kitchen- and cleaning staff (EXCEPT the lady in the reception!) were very hard working and friendly. The hotel is located in a rough area, but it is close to very nice places in walking distance. Did not expect much better given the quite low price, but you could argue that the price was high considering the standard. The room we got (after asking for a new one) was good in size

The roofs are a bit too low so taller people should pay attention while walking around the bungalows.

I can't confirm the negative reviews. We got a nice room for the lowest price at the given time and place, everything worked, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fine.
