Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was small with no external wall so there was no air or expelair in the bathroom so it was damp and the heat caused a smell. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillow were lumpy.
The location was good and the staff tried to help. It was cheap compared to others on the island but you got a cheap standard too, even so we have had better rooms in other parts of Thailand for less money.

United KingdomThe room smelt of sour milk. The room we had did not have access to sunlight & the whole street had a power outage from approximately 11am - 6pm - we were therefore sat in darkness. Inconveniently, it was raining heavily meaning our options for things to do during this time were limited. This was obviously not RC’s fault although something to be mindful of. In the 3 days we spent here our rooms weren’t cleaned nor did we have fresh towels.
It was close to everything that you needed. Viewpoint entry only a short walk away. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable also.

CanadaSo noisy! Other guests were so loud in the hallways banging doors and yelling (especially late into the night while drunk and coming back late). It would be great if there was a quiet after 11pm policy and some signs around reminding guests to be considerate because there are other guests who may actually be trying to sleep in the room they paid for! Room was serviceable. Staff was excellent.
Staff are amazing!! Super great, helpful and friendly. Central location was very handy. Bathroom was nicer than some other places we stayed at.

United KingdomI booked this hotel even though the ratings were poor. But when I arrived the owner told me they don't have any rooms for me. I had to find another hotel to stay even I had booking confirmation. Definitely not going to book this place again. I tried to contact booking.com but there was no reply back from them. Couldn't even find a phone number to call! Booking.com is becoming a fraud and scamming people now.

The staff both Ma and Van are friendly and helpful. budget guesthouse with perfect location you can walk to many places between Ton Sai pier and Loh la dum beach. The tourist information neighbor just five steps walks is superb helpful. This place is also close the most famous restaurant in Koh phi phi name garlic 1992. if you are backpacker who love party or ONS, I strongly recommended.
