Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaNot keen on the first room we were given. It was very small and the window had only the air conditioners as a view.
The room with the shower and bath was wonderful. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. We appreciated the shuttle bus service.

SingaporeMinor things - 5 minute walk to the main road and nearest convenience store and the toaster was slightly squeaky. Everything else was great though and I'd stay there again.
Room came with a microwave, bath tub, bath robes and towels. The balcony was also a welcome feature. Staff were available at the ungodly hours when when checked in/out, and the breakfast spread was surprisingly wide and tasty.

SingaporeOne and only gripe, the aircon gets a bit noisy so light sleepers bring ear plugs.
Love the location, have gone back and will go back again when I’m in Bangkok. Quaint and lovely hotel that offers plenty for the reasonable price.

MalaysiaWe were most happy that there was a buggy that could transport us to the BTS. We were also glad that the hotel was within walking distance to the BTS. The breakfast spread was sufficient and met our expectations. We were also happy that there were many good restaurants nearby.

United KingdomSome areas looked a little tired.
Not too big, felt very friendly and was well presented. Near to BTS and plenty of good restaurants. Safe area just off the main road. Staff are particularly nice and helpful. Bed super comfy and room cleaned to a high standard. Nice pool and breakfast included. There are also a number of complimentary activities like cooking demos. The gym is small but has a few good machines and weights.

United Arab EmiratesStaying at a boutique hotel is nice esp. in a metropolitan area especially if you are looking for a homey experience and La Petite Salil gave me that. It is not modern but quite comfortable and unique (plus I did love hearing the bird songs in the morning. They can improve the rooms however as some of the interiors have wear and tear and I did need to lock my balcony door with the curtain tie as its broken. I did like my stay though.

SingaporeNothing in particular! It might be slightly far from the BTS station on foot but we travelled everywhere by Grab. The hotel also has a shuttle to the station.
It’s well kept, nicely designed and always smells nice! We were particularly impressed by the breakfast (they even have natto!)

PhilippinesThere was a guy in the early morning shift that was really rude. He looked like the actor Joel Saracho. The rest of the normal day operation staff were very friendly. At one point I asked politely if he was okay, and he said "No, because I have to find rooms for you." I'm not even sure he was the receptionist. Maybe he was having a bad day. "Just give me passports and sit down." The beds are comfy, but the pillows are frail and lumpy. Neck hurts after a while. Location-wise, it's a little far from places we wanted to see. It's very near roads that are super congested. I'd only recommend this place if you like taking the train, but it's really bad when booking grab or taxi services. Might not be the best location for first timers. (It's our fourth time in Bangkok and wanted to see a new neighborhood, but would not really recommend.) There's ongoing construction in the hotel so we heard a lot of hammering throughout the day. But I think this should be over in a week's time. The lobby is accessible via car on a case to case basis. The parking area is also in front of the lobby in a narrow alley, so expect to be dropped off by the road if the parking is full. Also, there's a small bar beside the hotel, so at night there are a lot of people spilling on the alleyway. The pool is on ground level, beside the parking lot, so there is not much privacy. It's also beside the restaurant and buffet area, so a lot of people walking by all the time to go to the bar or the restaurant where you are openly visible if you use the pool. The smoking area for the restaurant is also the poolside. We didn't use the pool because of this. The nearest convenience store is a 15-minute walk so you might need to take that into account. (GrabFood is easy to use though.) Lots of thai massage, dental centers and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, but nothing super interesting in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Clean rooms, spacious bathroom, good beds, friendly staff (most of them). Good airconditioning. Free popcorn, coffee and cotton candy in the lobby. Can leave your baggae before checkin and after checkout. Smoking rooms are available. Morning buffet was okay, with an egg section where you can request for your omelettes. A usual selection of rice, thai meat, a dimsum section with a few options, a very small section of japanese. There are also fruit juices to choose from (but no ice and very small glasses). Some cereals, soups, staple sausages and bread. Bathroom had good show area, and the toilet a japanese seat and bidet on the side. Overall, a good experience for the price.
