United KingdomRestaurant and bar closed around 8.00pm although we were welcome to use the large seating area with bean bags etc after the bar closed. There were a few small restaurants in the nearby village but they also closed around the same time.
Well situated resort on lovely small beach. Room felt a little basic but was spacious with a large seating area outside. Ample other areas to sit outside in the evening.

United StatesWhen I checked in at the hotel at 12am, the security guy couldn’t find my reservation and he said no room are available. I showed him my reservation on booking.com app but with language barrier, he kept say tho no room. The hotel shuts down their front desk at 8pm and no one is working at night. What a bad hotel service is!!! At the same time, there ere so many sand flies was biting my legs. I had to stand at the front desk for 15 minutes to figure out the room situation but I had so many sand fly bites. I was about to go to other hotel, he found my paper. Also I left my T shirt in the room but the hotel never reply me about it. I don’t want to stay this hotel again.
The location was great surrounded by small mountains left and right and very private.

ThailandNescafe coffee is crap, no tea was provided. At this price range should have bathrobes and slippers. No one said hello when we came for breakfast, not sure if staff was aware of our breakfast order from the night before. Terrible breakfast, not even glasses for juice just boxes like for school children.
The bed was comfortable and ac worked well. Tv was ok.

ThailandFor price 3500 thb per night - it is horrible. Not clean room full of mosquitoes. Air conditioner very weak and loud. Breakfast quality far from perfect - greasy sausiges and potatoes which stuff can't bring on time. Lazy staff at the restaurant. I was there couple years ago - during COVID. service was much more better. Staff was polite and hotel was just after renovation. Now nobody cares what's going on there. You can come here just for the beach. But I can't recommend to pay money for this hotel

United KingdomWe were burgled and I had my wallet taken from our roon which was locked. We came in friom the beach to put haversack in locked room for two hrs during lunch and came back early to find front door unlocked and back door. The wallet was gone and we lost 500 pounds cask, three credit cards and a wedding ring. The staff were not that interested and told us to go to the police which we did.There was no cctv outside the room. Be very careful when staying here.
Breakfast and dinner was always cold and as often in Thailand dinner came at different times - ie chips first followed by main dish etc

I am sincerely glad to experience such a beautiful place to stay for a couple of days. Sanae Beach is a gem placed right between mountains that has picturesque sand line with little waves coming from the gulf of Thailand. Houses are designed to satisfy everyone needs. Everything is just super comfortable. The restaurant offers nice breakfast options. Not many but essential ones. For lunch and breakfast it’s offered a great choice. There is a swimming pull and cost places to read or relax under tree shadows. People who manage this place are doing the great job.
