Throughout my entire trip in Thailand, this was the best hostel I stayed at. The cleanliness, location, and room facilities were all excellent. Especially, the staff were very helpful and friendly. They provided me with valuable advice on how to get to Bangkok next and what I could do there. Everything was great.

The definition of the perfect hostel, if you're not looking for party vibes etc. Matt was a great host, the vibe was super chill and friendly, everyone was respectful and quiet and the beds are super comfy. 110% recommend!

Everything was very clean, beds were super comfy, the host was really nice, he booked the bikes for us and gave us a lot of useful info. And breakfast was really good too, they bake homemade sweets everyday.

The showers could use some hangers and places to put things. Toilet paper was empty at times.

The place was nice for two nights. I liked the small rooftop. They could put some more nice furniture. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. They are very helpful with tours and information. There is a small social area and kitchen. The Sunday night walking street is amazing and close by!

Clean rooms and multiple bathrooms. The room is very quiet. There are curtains to ensure privacy. It is equipped with a free bath towel. The bed is very comfortable and very close to the Sunday night market.

Stayed in 6 bedded female dorm for 5 nights. It's my first time staying in dorm in Chiang Rai and I am quite impressed with the cleanliness. There is no shoe policy which helped. Basic breakfast provided such as bread, buns, margarine (if it's butter it would be way better), jam, coffee, hard boiled eggs and bananas. The mattress and quilt cover is so soft and comfy, I like the blackout curtain as it gives privacy at the same time provides convenience to everyone as the room light or bed light wouldn't affect myself or others - I chose this hostel over two other hostels with better location because they don't have blackout curtains (I think every hostel should have blackout curtains 😂). The bunk bed design is spacious, I requested for lower bunk and the upper bunk isn't too lower that gives suppressed feeling. There is individual light and socket beside each bed, best part is there is a bar in front of every bed to hang your towel/clothings. Air con is strong (it gets in your space with curtain closed), 23-25degree is cold enough for majority. If you are a light sleeper like me, remember to get ear plugs or if you are comfortable with your ear piece to block out noises, I slept through the night soundly with them. There are 2 shower rooms at each floor (shampoo and shower gel provided), water heater and pressure are working well. There is proper area to hang my washed clothings on the top floor balcony. The common space on 2nd floor level has sofa, dining table and a coffee table, tv with different apps including Netflix, fridge and little pantry. Owner (Matt) is staying on ground floor and he is easily reachable over Whatsapp.

My bed was right by the window and as the hostel is on the main street it tended to get very noisy. Other than that the hostel was great.

Everything clean and new, toilets were always spot on, very respectful guests, can only recommend. Place is kept tidy, WiFi worked, breakfast included, for the price it is, honestly, I plan to go back there. And good food places and markets around.

Not very social, but I was only there for 1 night.

Really nice dorm rooms with little details like a towel rail, bedside light, shelf and a clothes hanger for each bed. My room also had a balcony although I didn't use it. Very clean hostel. Free breakfast was very basic - just toast, fruit and boiled eggs but overall great value still for the price. Free tea and coffee available throughout the day. The guy at reception was very helpful and gave me really good advice about when to visit the temples etc and also helped me plan my bus to Laos. Thank you!

Nice location! Comfy beds, very clean facilities and nice, cozy common area, free water and best breakfast I had in any hostel in Thailand. The homemade Pandan, chocolate and green tea buns and the bread pudding were awesome!! Fruits were nice too. Best host ever!! He really takes his time to explain everything and recommend very nice things! Thank you!! Even after checking out I get recommendations for South Thailand via insta !!

Would be better to have there more toilets but not a big deal.
