How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing bad about the property but Cha Am itself is not really geared up for tourists. No real centre or markets or much to do other than go to the beach (which is very nice). Apparently there is a night market on Weds but we were there over a weekend.
Really lovely hotel with great swimming pools, very close to beachfront and very good breakfast.

Everything exceeded my expectations, couldnt ask fir anything better
The location was great, right across the stteet from the beach. Great view of the pool. Nicr having a pool on each of the 3 floors. Great parking in the basement garage. One of the best breakfast buffets that i had here.

Bed is too hard Pillow seems like they are old thus the shape is not as it should be. Hot water in the shower doesn’t work well.
The hotel is not a new or modern style but they keep it clean. The side of room is bigger then others which lead to have more space. It’s close to the beach as well.

Difficult to think what could have been better.
Great breakfast. Great location. Exceptionally spacious rooms and spacious bathroom. Was nice to have both shower and bathtub (separate). All room and bathroom amenities were available. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

Actually your breakfast is superb before Covid-19 pandemic and this made me returning to your hotel. Unfortunately, this time the breakfast is very poor, no even Salad bar to serve and the choice of foods are too limited. I guess because you reduce the food line, and change the Chef as well. The taste is badly needed to be improved.

The pools are nice but filthy. I understand that they are outdoor pools...not easy to keep the leaves out but we found lots of hairs, bugs, even pieces of bread (really!) in the water...gross! Breakfast was bad...I mean it’s nice that they let us have free breakfast eventhough we didn’t want it...but it was badddd. They even served us coffee with spoiled milk...like a coffee yogurt. Hope they do better after the Covid situation :)
The hotel just right across from the beach. There’re shops and convenient stores around. Underground parking is nice to keep the car away from the heat. The room is spacious, bed is super comfy. The staff are very nice and attentive, especially the lady at the restaurant by the beach.

Where to start... The room feels old and outdated, and hasn't aged well. These might have been beautiful rooms 20 years ago, but today they are simply disappointing. The AC is at least as old as the rooms, with a control unit that looks so 80s it must be a joke, while the room cools in waves yet always seems to remain slightly humid. Breakfast is pathetic to say the least - think instant coffee instead of beans, bottled juice instead of fresh, and only the cheapest options for the very limited rest. And you can rent bicycles but only until 6PM, which made them useless for us as we only wanted them to get to the center for the night market or to a restaurant a bit futher away. Which means that without your own transport, either prepare to walk a lot, or to wait a lot (Grab and other services are poorly supported in the hotel area), or to overpay for the taxi services offered nearby. We stayed 4 nights sadly, cos it were 4 too many.
Amazing swimming pools - especially off-season when you have them all to yourself, they are by far the best part of the resort. Perhaps the only thing worth considering a stay for.
