Beautiful location, a real island getaway

Booking activities and spa services was difficult until we got to the resort, but once there many things need to be reserved with 12-24 hours notice.

The plunge pool was killer and so nice to have in the heat! Also the views are gorgeous, the beach is quiet, and the staff is super friendly! Get a massage every day if you can, they are impeccable and quiet inexpensive, just make sure to book a day or two in advance at the spa desk. The food at the restaurant is amazing. You never have to leave the property if you don't want, but the boat and island tours are wonderful so make time for at least one excursion!

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Koh Yao! The place is beautifully secluded and giving a “Robinson Crusoe” feeling but with the added comfort. Service is sincere & staff is nice. We look forward to going back.

While most staff members were really helpful and friendly, the female Swiss reception manager came across as a bit abrupt and rude. Also, due to the secluded location, there are no other restaurant or café options, so guests have to eat meals at the slightly higher prices of the resort, compared to usual prices in Thailand.

The resort and location are beautiful and quite secluded which is perfect for a quiet holiday away from tourist centres like Phuket and Krabi. The room was in great condition and cleaned regularly with fresh towels and water bottles provided.

It feels like living in paradise. Extremely relaxing while you still have options for activities like canoe, yoga, running club and visiting the village. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel at home. There were also extras organised in the evenings like open air cinema with popcorn or bonfire with snacks and drinks. I loved this place and definitely recommend a stay. We stayed for 4 nights which felt like the perfect time.

The view is perfect, the location is isolated and quiet, the food is great, a bit expensive but good quality. The room is thai style, big and amazing. The team is amazing, the spa is the best, the cooking class was great.

The rooms are unique and give you a proper feel of being in the jungle, but I’m not keen on the doors and windows not being air tight, we got a few critters in which wasn’t pleasant, but this is Thailand so it’s half expected.

If you want a getaway from the tourist areas of Krabi/Phuket, this is the ideal place. Restaurant is lovely with Khao Soy being particularly good. The staff are welcoming, especially Bee who works around the pool bar. The excursions the resort offers are slightly more expensive than normal, but we found they were a lot more private as there was only two other couples with us for our trip.

There aren't many things to complain about and I understand why these things are as they are. For example the water was a bit underwhelming compared to other places in the Andaman sea, bu the beach area was well taken care of and the pool was a nice compensation if in need of a swim. The massages were a bit pricier compared to other places I visited in Thailand, but the massage was a whole experience, not just a massage. There were not so many options for eating out, but this was a fair price to pay for the peace and isolation, and we didn't feel like we were missing out.

The entire place was impressive, very well organised and I found gorgeous. The room was spacious, the dathroom very interesting and practical. The breakfast had many options of both Western and Asian food. We enjoyed the few activities included (bonfire drinks, trip to nearby island, kayak, yoga). The spa area was very beautiful and relaxing. All in all it was a great experience that I would definetly recommend!

Things to note are, bus costs about £16 for a couple to the village and back. You can get it one way and ride mopeds back if you are brave enough to take the dirt track through the jungle (we did, it was scary but fun 😂). Trip prices are high compared to the rest of the island. It would be nice to have a gym but we did lots of other activities so didn’t miss it too much The food at the treehouse was the best of the 3 restaurants but you have to book. The prices there go from really reasonable to bizarrely expensive for some things you think would be cheap. We had the set menu though and it was stunning!!

Everything! The clue is in the title……it really is paradise 😁 We saw oriental hornbills, which are the most beautiful of birds, did yoga by the Sea with monkeys running around, went kayaking through the sea caves and hired mopeds to tour the whole island. Be aware that the location is remote (about half an hour from the village with a lot of that on dirt track) but it’s absolutely worth it. If we came back to the island we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The prices in the hotel are obviously more expensive but at roughly £5/£6 for a cocktail and food starting at around the same price, it’s not extortionate considering its remote location. The beach is by far the best on the island too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The added bonus is that you can get a speedboat directly to Phuket and back (about £22 per person per direction). The pool was amazing, clean and cooler than most. In fact everywhere was spotlessly clean. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. On a night with storms they even came to light a citronella oil burner, put all our blinds and mosquito net down so we didn’t get bitten! We got 90 minutes free yoga and a free kayak session too! We love, love, love this place and we will be back

Everythings superb only minus about 1 km unpaved road leading to resort.so an adventure to rent a motorbike in town. The shuttle is about 30 minutes to market. No free town shuttle costs about 300 baht per person so would be adding up for a family or if you do it more often. I was told this would be also for maintance of the resort shuttle. Maybe worth to, in the end , find a solution and pave the road.would be safer for all employyes which all come by motorbike too

For the standard of the place, the restaurant could have been better. The kids menu is disappointing (no healthy options) and the food is often oily. This resort is very isolated on the island so if you’re hoping to explore Koh Yao Noi I would recommend splitting your stay in two. Avoid the long bumpy dusty road at all costs and arrange a boat pick up instead with the hotel.

If you’re looking for the right place to relax with a good drink and a good view, this is it. A lot of care goes into this place. Good efforts for sustainability and comfort. You will see dozens of hornbills and other happy creatures. Breakfast is very good and offers a wide range of options. There are different things happening every day like a movie night on the beach or a bonfire gathering with free food and drinks.

Resort with a private beach, surrounded by the nature. The view from the beach is amazing. Private speed boat from the hotel to Marina Phuket, which is very closed to the airport. Friendly prices.

Nothing! All was perfect

This hotel is brilliant. Not only was ist beautiful and luxurious with a beautiful beach but also has very helpful and kind staff. I had a health scare in the middle of the night due to a severe infection I had obtained in a previous location on the main land and the staff organized a driver in the middle of the night within minutes and I was in the hospital with a competent doctor before I could realize what's happening. One of the staff came with us to translate for me with the doctors. Thankfully I got healthy quickly and the staff was always worried and asked about my well being in the rest of the stay, which had great food, bonfires, laughter and dance. This place is unique and if you want to feel safe in paradise this is the place for you. Worth every €$€¥¢

Beautiful beach, friendly staff, amazing room with a plunge pool (worth splurging on this!), nice lounge chairs. Good variety of restaurant food & drinks. Happy hour was nice everyday right on the beach.

It was absolutely amazing. It's unbelievably stunning. The view from the room is incredible. I loved the swing chair on the balcony and outdoor shower. The pool and the beach were amazing. I loved all the activities available as well. Would highly highly recommend.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The local staff's warm hospitality added to the sense of community, while the stunning beach, refreshing pool area, and beautifully appointed rooms with open balconies and showers made for a luxurious and relaxing experience. The delicious food and the surprisingly affordable rates further enhanced my stay. I put a considerable amount of research into finding a somewhat secluded paradise near spectacular but very popular Phuket and was not disappointed with this resort! Although I wouldn’t consider it remote, and it was quite large, it didn’t detract from the spectacular scenery. It is nestled between karat peaks between the turquoise sea and a beautiful patch of jungle all a short kayak ride away from stunning beaches within the National Park (where you may also get lucky and get them all to yourself for the afternoon!) As birders the best part was the lovable flock of Hornbills who happily soar amongst the trees and are very well taken care. During the previous two months of birding in the north we had only seen them once from a distance where they are very rare due to habitat loss and poaching. At Paradise, it was an incredibly special opportunity to witness their natural curiosity and silliness every morning and afternoon in the trees while soaking in our amazing plunge pool and spacious terrace. During our seven days we ate at all three restaurants (including Roots at Treehouses) and thought the quality and taste was always very good. Besides for one Italian meal at Al Fresco we always ordered Thai. Breakfast was also generous and delicious. As others mention, the food is more expensive than the rest of Thailand, but it’s also grown locally or brought in on a boat so we were not surprised nor felt the cost was disproportionate. I also had two great massages at the spa and a fantastic yoga class. We always had great interactions with the friendly and well trained staff. We only took the excursion to Koh Pakbia that was included in our stay, which was beautiful but very busy. As a scuba diver the water clarity in March was very poor, so snorkeling too would probably would be disappointing. The beaches were great! It’s definitely worth it to rent a kayak and explore the area and island north of the resort.

The only feedback I would give is book your reservations in advance, we were unable to get a table at the smaller restaurant during our stay.

The rooms are beautiful and well looked after. The service across the resort is spectacular, we did not want for anything. Very good choice of food between the restaurants day/night and activities if you want to book stuff for your stay. Location is stunning, recommend getting up for the sunrise one morning and taking a yoga class on the beach

Getting a little tied around the edges. As a resort hotel it can be on the expensive side

Great location, edge of nature park, good eco credentials. Lots of activities to do. Lovely trips to do.
