Totally loved the place. The rooms were spacious. Bathroom was even better with a nice tub. Staff was really friendly. We had lunch from the restaurant Fish tales, we loved it! Breakfast was really good . Probably the best I had in Thailand. They even have a live fruit station, loved the fruit mocktails. They have 2 really good pools. Sad that we had only one night stay in Garrya. waking up early to catch the sunrise was totally worth it.

The weather was changeable when we were there November and December but this isn't a fault of the hotel. Brilliant otherwise.

The whole area of the hotel is beautiful, there is plenty of greenery. We've stayed in villa with private pool and bath on the terrace, it was exceptional. Villa was huge with amazing seaview, everything was clean and well organised. Villa was also secluded from the rest of the resort, it was very peacful.

The location of the restaurant is not ideal. Though it is beachfront, the water is prone to turbulence and it's deep and not conducive for relaxing or dipping in. The location is removed from local restaurants and stores, and so you will have to take a taxi for every little trip if you don't want to be stuck in the hotel for your stay. They try to make it feel like a wellness resort, with so much vegetation, but that made for much mosquitoes and insects. And they will not provide complimentary mosquito sprays. In general the island sees more rain than most others.

The quality of the room - I particularly liked that we had our private outdoor space, including the pool area. That was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was awesome.

My wife and I stayed at the Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui for our Honeymoon and we're very impressed by this excellent resort and exceptional staff. From our check in to our check out the staff did everything they could to make our stay as memorable as possible. A honeymoon welcome note and complimentary champagne awaited us in our room along with a lovely floral decoration on our bed. All contact with staff at the resort was very pleasant from the front desk, restaurant staff, cleaners, security, beach staff to the conceirges. We decided to book the hotel's transportation to and from the resort and it was very well organized and timely, and included a 'to go' breakfast box as our flight time was very early in the morning

Everything, absolutely everything about this place is fantastic. Here are the main points: - Breakfast has lots of options to cater to everyone - The staff are incredible, there are so many people I’d like to thank but here are a few names I wrote down: Kookik, Kae, Fasuk, Pu, Getty - Beautiful resort with a private beach - Peaceful, tranquil and calming vibe - Selection of spa treatments I MUST return at some point in the future!

The breakfast buffet was really bad. We chose this place because of the breakfast but we're let down. We have stayed in many hotels in Asia but this one only focused on European foods like waffles, cold cut meat and cheese, viennoiserie, jams, baked beans, etc. They had 2-3 Thai dishes every day, one being a terrible congee (too soupy, and the meat was mealy) and a stir fry chicken that they served for several days. Rice and noodles were bland and dry. Noodle soup was tasteless broth. They couldn't even make a soft Thai scrambled egg despite many attempts, whereas at my next hotel the local fellow made it perfectly at the first attempt. We cancelled the cooking class that we had organised, unfortunately. Disappointing, because other than this the property is fantastic.

The private beach was great, and happy hour with great cocktails every evening 6-7pm was wonderful. The staff was great, and took good care of the room.

Food at the resort was expensive compared to the locals restaurants, but you get what you pay for.

Brilliant resort with a private beach and good facilities. We were upgraded to a Seaview king size room, nestled in the greenery. Buggy was available at a moment's notice to take you around the hotel grounds. We stayed in low season when it was quiet and we had the adult pool to ourselves most days. There are free kayaks and paddleboards to use when available. Breakfast had great choices (ask for the vegetarian menu if you want it). Other food choices at the restaurant were brilliant and the service impeccable. They knew we were vegetarian and they were happy to adapt the food to suit. Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly at every stage of our stay.

The minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff went above and behind any of our expectations. The hotel grounds are exotic, extremely well kept with stunning natural views of the water and nature. Our room was cleaned daily with local treats 2x/day. The included breakfast was the best all you can eat buffet I had ever experience. T. Access to water sports Equipment such as SUP, kayak and sail boat was also a game changer.

Everything was amazing! Such a beautiful resort with brilliant staff and amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the juices and smoothie bar was a defitniely a highlight. Having a private beach and two pools was fantastic.
