- location, not easy to get tuk-tuk or taxi by your self. But it is easy to arrange transportation by hotel or by using grab app.

- fish tales restaurant ( sea bass coconut rice dish is good ) - wellbeing seafront pool villa ( perfect large private pool ) - bathrub in the villa is gorgeous - friendly staff - friday movie night - tennis court for free

Location is not really walkable to anywhere. Have to get a taxi anytime you want to leave so not the most convenient but again the hotel were great in organising. Ideal location for a relaxing holiday where you don’t leave the resort. However, the prices in the restaurants etc are pretty high so grudge eating and drinking there. Room service slightly sloppy where they forgot to replace certain things each day etc.

Gorgeous resort. The staff were so lovely every single time we saw them, and were very helpful. The resort itself was lovely and you were treated like royalty when at the pool and restaurant etc. Our room was lovely, and a gorgeous view. The private beach and the pool are fab. Hotel always organised taxis at a very fair price, not ripping us off like other hotels. Best part was the cold towels they give you when you go to the lobby, a very nice touch when it’s very hot!!!! Breakfast had a great selection and was very high quality. The BBQ buffet was AMAZING. Definitely recommend.

probably the hotel would consider the waiting space when you are not able to do early check in or late check out. you can stay beach side and/or restaurants, but sometimes very warm with arrival or departure day. if there are the space with air conditioning/ with sofa, bed, the guest may relax a bit better

The hotel is located very quite area in Ko Sami, beach has a lot of privacy which is not likely in other area in Thailand. Spa, wellness activities and restaurants food is focused on wellness. the resort is very natural colored and environmental conscious. If you like quiet, private place with hospitality, i would highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning location and beautiful resort! We booked a Seaview Pool Villa which is absolutely huge well furnished and modern. Breakfast was excellent with every conceivable food on offer, separate egg, waffle and juicing stations & well spaced out seating area. The main pool is very big and a welcome relief from the heat Restaurants are excellent with friendly staff who can’t do enough for you I enjoyed testing my phrase book Thai on the staff Aroy Mak Mak ka (very tasty) Big shout out to Thunder on reception and Ice in the restaurant in fact everyone was fantastic We also met the general manager Manuel at breakfast who was genuinely interested in our stay The Gym is compact and well equipped with modern equipment Previous to the stay at Tongsai Bay we were based in the sister hotel Banyan Tree resort for a few days I can honestly say both resorts are flawless with Tongsai Bay taking the edge on breakfast and general mobility around the resort You can actually walk quite easy around Tongsai Bay whereas with Banyan tree resort is very very steep and buggies were essential I would definitely come back and recommend You won’t be disappointed

It is just a detail that I didn't mind at the end and is the blokout curtain, I am used to have the darkness for sleeping but the bed and pillows make me feel and sleep like at home.

Everything at the hotel was amazing, the staff organized everything what I requested with detail, I would definitely come back to you next year, thanks a lot for the impecable service.

The power went out a few times in our room but never for long and staff was very responsive.

We loved everything- the food was delicious, the staff was extremely friendly, the views from every location on the resort were incredible. In terms of service, Tiger and other members of the staff went above and beyond to help us secure excursions and make sure we have a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day ourselves

The BBQ buffet dinner was the only let down... quality was poor and very over priced.

Location is excellent on lovely quiet bay. The staff are all excellent and really couldn't have been more helpful. The Beach is lovely as is the pool. There are free kayaks and paddle boards to use. Breakfasts were exceptional.

The spa was good but could have been better, especially for the price.

The resort welcomes you with a smile from check-in and throughout your stay. The rooms are well-maintained and spacious. The staff of Garraya is the differentiator; tough, it feels like everyone makes an effort to know you and cater to your needs. The gym is very well equipped and the resort makes for a good self driven wellness retreat.

One of the morning buggy guy can drive a bit fast and doesn’t seem to be all happy sometimes, but not a big issue if you have no kids.

Super close to the airport, the property is small but generally kept well considering how old it is. Room is clean but be aware of ants, lots of them. I didn’t notice the room has staircases when I booked it and I can see theres no way to put up baby fence, so be aware of that upon booking if you are like me traveling with small children. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating - Pu from breakfast fruit stand is super nice, my kids always enjoy saying hello to her in the morning, Phi(I think) from the beach Bar is very good and kind with kids too, and Bella from kids club is absolutely amazing, the kids club itself is tiny and not so well equipped but Bella is the game changer, you can tell she genuinely cares about the little ones and my kids adore her!

This is a boutique hotel located in paradise, nestled among jungle vegetation, with its own private beach in a bay inlet. Our room was very spacious with its private bath in the balcony overlooking the stunning views. The staff were so friendly, and catered to our every request,when needed we could order a golf buggy to collect us from our room to the breakfast dining restaurant. It always arrived promptly.I cannot fault the impeccable service of this hotel, all was smooth, unhurried, the beach staff spoiled us, bringing chilled water frequently and arranging the towels on the sun loungers. We ordered a couple package Thai massage on a beach deck near the shore. Out of this world, romantic getaway and also catered for families and children. One of the most enjoyable pampering hotels we have stayed in and we would recommend this hotel to our family and friends hands down o

The staff, facilities, warm welcome was amazing! I absolutely loved to stay here. My room was always cleaned (housekeeping did an amazing job, they would even come in the afternoon for a second time if my room is free) and they would leave Thai gifts every afternoon. There are al sort of events & activities on the beach- the Sax player one night was my favourite! I booked all of my tours, scuba diving and elephant sanctuary at the front desk, the lady was very happy to explain and organise everything. Had a message there, was incredible! I wish i could write all about how wonderful this resort is, but that would take all day. So I’ll just say this, it’s the most spectacular and special place I’ve ever stayed at. Worth every penny. Yes there are hills and stairs, but the staff is so attentive you can just call and get a cart. I mostly preferred walking because the place is beautiful to explore. Just wanted to thank Thunder and Da at reception they were very welcoming and always so attentive. Koakiki at the breakfast restaurant, her smile and kindness was a great way to start the day. Su from the beach restaurant is amazing at here Job and so kind to all the new staff working there. Even the security guard at the reception, New, was the friendliest person I’ve met. I cannot wait to go and visit again. If you don’t know where to stay (cause there are so many options in Koh Samui, this is the one!)

The private beach is not sandy, which might suit some. Breakfast healthy options couldve been better. All of the restaurants and other places on the island are quite far and require taxis. The hotel offers one shuttle per day

Well, have to be honest, so here is the list of cons. Bedsheets and towels smell terrible, I totally understand and the climate is humid, but hotels deal with this problem somehow. Breakfast was ok, variety of fruits impressive, but compare to other 5 star hotels seemed a bit poor.

Stuff is very very friendly, polite and helpful, territory well taken care of and has it’s unique appearance, privacy of property and especially beach one of the advantages. Fish and tales restaurant at the beach is really good, no need to leave property for a lunch time, since kitchen is good and prices ok.
