Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PakistanI visited Tajikistan for the first time, and stayed at Atlas hotel Dushanbe. I booked this hotel through booking.com, and found it very convenient for everything. They offered very diverse breakfast, free laundry, high speed internet, very professional, hospitable, and helpful staff, who supported to understand the nearby areas, calling taxi, suggesting nearest places to visit, even helped to exchange foreign currency etc. So I would highly recommend this hotel.

ThailandI was in Atlas Hotel. It’s really great. - The hotel provides 24 hours coffee, tea and water. It helps a lot when the weather changes. - The staffs are so nice and always willing to help. They speak English fluently. - The room is clean. Worth for money. - The location is close to the airport. Very easy to get there. I recommend to book this hotel when you are searching for the place to stay in Dushanbe.

United Arab EmiratesNothing. Definitely worth the price tag.
Friendly and attentive staff, amazing breakfast buffet with a variety of delicious options, comfortable bed, spacious and bright room with all the amenities. Overall I was happy with my one week stay-----few quirks to be improved i.e., ventilation and wifi. The wifi was a bit slow for my live streams and high bandwidth demands, however it was fine for normal and daily basic tasks such as checking emails and web browsing.

RussiaIt was very loud in the night for a very long time in the room upstairs, and the staff haven't done anything to make it quieter though I've called them twice. There was a laundry service included - thanks for that a lot! But still I didn't know where I will get my clothes back. And I had to ask someone to get my clothes to the laundry twice, because no-one came after the first call to the reception. So the service is good, but it was disappointing to call again and again.
The breakfast was good enough. There was a cold swimming pool and a sauna. Very nice and comfortable suite.

The staff was wonderful, the hotel was modern with beautiful rooms and nice shower and touches of Tajikistan in the decorations. The buffet breakfast was a nice way to start the day and plenty of bottled water was available.

United StatesThey did not tell us that we can buy lunch. I did not know they sell lunch like pizza/burgers. I found out after my vacation when I read the reviews online. They also did not tell us that tea/coffee/drinks/biscuits was free through out the day. The bicycles are too big. I am 5ft tall they should have smaller bicycles as well. the bicycle tires were not too good. The indoor pool area smelled bad! The room I got did not have nice view. The tv did not have Tajiki channels. It only had Russian & English. I really wasnted Tajiki Channels. Why do the hotels in Dushanbe & houses not have window nets?
Well, I booked with Atlas B&B guesthouse but when we arrived there, they told us to go to the bigger Atlas Hotel because they said when there is not enough customers at the atlas b&b guesthouse, then they send everyone to the other atlas hotel because it's bigger. So I don't know if that's a good thing for me or not but I did enjoy the bigger atlas hotel. But I would also have liked to experience the atlas b&b guesthouse. The food was good. The free breakfast was tasty. The employees were super nice & helpful. The rooms was beautiful & the other parts of the hotel. I liked the free airport shuttle services.

RussiaExtremely poor WiFi! Regular interruptions and low speed. If you’re going to work, you’d better buy a SIM card. Lunch and dinner also available for extra charge ($10 each). Only a few dishes are offered to choose from: 1 soup, 3-4 main courses, and a couple of salads. But it’s better than nothing, especially bearing in mind a lack of good eateries around. Location isn’t the best - the hotel was build in the middle of residential area full of low-rise houses. However main streets, businesses and stores are 15 minutes walk away.
Well equipped, clean and comfortable room, good choice of free toiletries in the room, soft/hot drinks and fruits available in lobby 24/7. Breakfast was ok.

United StatesAtlas Hotel and B&B need to work to improve on their booking management system and communication with expected guests: At my first arrival together with two travel companions, before a two-weeks road trip through the country, only two of three booked rooms were in fact available (for the first night). On my second arrival, after the road trip, the B&B was closed and it was on us to make the phone call and figure out what next, which was a bit of a hassle. We would have appreciated the hotel to reach out to us proactively, before our arrival. Nevertheless, once everything had fallen in place, in both cases, the stay at Atlas was very pleasant
Upon arrival at the B&B from a longer road trip, we were informed that the B&B was closed for construction work and were offered to stay at the close-by Atlas Hotel instead. This was in fact an upgrade in terms of quality of rooms , breakfast, and amenities… The hotel is a very nice, clean, conveniently located accommodation; breakfast is generous, and staff is very friendly and helpful.
