How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had to buy a swimming cap to use the pool even though I don’t have much hair on my head! The pool wasn’t that warm either.
Grand hotel which was very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. Good location by the mall next door which includes a supermarket on the bottom floor. Tram stop opposite, perfect location to get around easily. Lots of breakfast choices, some which change daily. Reception organised a taxi to take us back to the airport.

Breakfast may have better quality food and drink
Nice location, in centrum and near malls and tram. Clean hotel and a lot of facilities included free access to spa and pool.

The climatisation system is not performant. The TH didn't run well and there were no french TV chanels available.

Old and dirty furniture and carpet specially in the living room (I stayed in One bedroom King Suite), Seats have stains all over… Can be improved with a little effort ☹
Location is great, right next to a shopping mall. Very quiet and nice well-organized lobby with a friendly and cooperative staff… Valet parking is efficient and fast..

The staff was 100% super friendly and always tried to help me out. However some could not speak basic English and communication was difficult. I’d suggest the hotel manager should pay their staff for English lessons.
The location was good for my business purposes however it is a walk from the city centre. The hotel was spotless clean—hands up to the housekeeping staff. The Sky Lounge bar and restaurant really know how to take care of their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. My main interaction was with Kardican and Caner—awesome people. The Sky singer Sedat and Burcin were incredibly great and even gave me some folk Turkish singing lessons. I wish I could stay longer!

AC was so bad when I enter my room it was so hot I wait for 3 hours till it cooled down and at mid night the AC was get off which waked me up and I call reception it took 2 hours to fixed it again

I will not recommend the honesty of the hotel and the attitude of the receptionist because we forget a jacket ,I contacted them about it ,when we arrive they showed me a picture of it the previous night , and said to us we can pick it up the next morning so when we went to them they said that it have been delivered to someone else on 19th , we wasn’t there even on that day !!! so please don’t forget anything in there hotel because even if they said it’s there they will not give to you

The iron was leaking rusty water, it ruined my white shirt just before i was about to go a wedding ceremony.
it is ok hotel, but facilities got old a bit, it need a general maintenance.

This is not a hotel. I will never ever stay on it next time. I think this is 0 stars. No AC in rooms. They have changed my room 2 times. Bathrooms are leaking waters and shower room drain the water to the rooms. This is not hotel. 3 days with no AC

Very noticeable demotivated staff and obvious. They lack welcoming and provide services unwillingly and with grinning and frowning faces. They do not have porter and we have to carry our bags. They do not cater special diet food although they have been noticed in advance .

Location is bad. Avoid staying at the Trabzon (east) side of the building. The car wash and the football field work until late hours.
Very clean and Covid-aware.
