Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomThe rooms were excellent but in need of redecorating.
The breakfast good value, in-fact we did not eat again until 4pm. It was in an excellent location for getting out and about on the ferryboats. The staff were very helpful despite the language barrier, good old Google translate. The Bar and Restaurant were great value.

AustriaThe facade of the hotel is new but the inside of the hotel would also need a new painting. Not modern standard. The staff knows very less English. Our bed just had one single big cover blanket for 2 people. When we asked for an extra blanket they said no. So one of us had to use a wool blanket for sleeping, which in summer nights is unbelievable hot. The breakfast time was from 9-10.30 am. So for us it was a bit too late. The breakfast was for us very dissapointing (these small slices of white bread, different types of sausages which were not looking appetizing for us). But the eggs were really fresh made and still warm. --> So on the next 2 following mornings we had our breakfast at "Mado Cafe" (altough their menu card was only in Turkish) or you can buy something a bakery or supermarket. The menu card of the evening restaurant next to the hotel did not offer much variety as the hotel staff had mentioned. So one evening we were eating at "Tiara's Bistro". Very delicious! On our last day in the morning there was suddenly not running water anymore. Thankfully we had already taken a shower the night before. In general all these Princes Islands are more focused on daily tourism. During the day you'll have a lot of tourists. In the evenings it will slowly become peaceful. In the mornings the restaurants will open for breakfast also at 9 or 10 or 10.30 am.
From the ferry port you can easily reach the hotel. Our room was very big with the AC not above our bed (which was for us ideal). We even had a small balcony. The shower cabin was very big and had sliding doors.

EgyptAll is perfect .
The Hotel rooms are very clean and Staff was very cooperative. Room had a wonderful view. Breakfast was full of assortments of food and very clean. Bathroom was very clean and full of all what you need starting from towels till toothpaste.
