The choices for breakfast offered outside of normal opening hours are not great. We ordered the Turkish omelette and got something that looked like runny scrambled egg! Apparently Turkish omelettes aren’t the same as English omelettes, but no one warned us before we ordered. However the chef was kind enough to make us a proper omelette as a gesture of goodwill, which we really appreciated as we didn’t want to travel to the airport on an empty stomach.

Totally loved this resort, it has to be the nicest place I have ever stayed while on holiday abroad. The staff are so nice, friendly and helpful. They literally go out of their way to be of assistance. They even WhatsApp you to see if everything is okay. We even got surprise treats like chocolates and prosecco brought to our room FREE of charge! Their attention to detail surpasses anything I’ve ever experienced before. And the daily activities such as shooting and archery are really awesome and Peckan makes it such s laugh. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

There is nothing not to like but there are a few things that could be improved. The hotel is catering to families with kids (there was not table in the restaurant without small kids) so it would have been nice to have a basket of coloring books, crayons and used toys spread around the property for the kids to play while parents eat. This would have been especially nice at the beach. The corridors design leading to the rooms have to be changed. I've heard multiple people joking it looked like a sanatorium or a prison corridor. :) It didn't match the rest of the hotel. This one is a personal preference: the open concept bathroom. If you have a small child that barely stays asleep, having to tip-toe around your sink to wash or only having privacy in the small toilet room, is not very comfortable. I would have preferred some privacy around the bathroom.

We have visited Lara Barut at the beginning of May 2024 and took a lagoon swim-up room. It was the best decision for us. The hotel was very beautiful, but the grounds with gardens and pools and the lawns were amazing! Big thank you to the team that took care of the gardens and the cleaning of the hotel. We have been 9 people (6 adults and 3 children) and we had an amazing time. Food was incredibly abundant and delicious, outside facilities for kids were great and evening entertainment had something for everyone. The swim-up room opened directly to the pool and my husband and my son had a lot of fun there. Definitely recommend it and worth the extra fee. Overall we declared it was the perfect place of tiered parents with small kids to relax and enjoy our vacation and we will definitely return.

All the property needs is a cash machine. Though the local one isn’t too far but an on-site one will be immensely helpful! Everything else is perfect.

The hotel isn’t anything fancy looking, but it has mostly every facility that you need in a resort like this. The stay was comfortable and the beach was fabulous. Their food was something else! Though initially we had an issue with AC in our room, but it was quickly resolved! It was a wonderful holiday.

We enjoyed our stay in Lara Barut, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We did enjoy the ala carte restaurants and the facilities around the hotel. The room had an amazing terrace and enough space. We strongly recommend Lara Barut and definitely will come back soon.

There was nothing to dislike. Some minor suggestions, though, that might be helpful - it would have been nice to have another stand to pick up fresh pool towels in between the main pool and the beach bar. The waitstaff in the main dining area were often a bit too eager to clear our plates, asking to clear plates before we were actually ready.

Everything. We had an absolutely fabulous stay and were sad to leave. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, great amenities, large, clean, and comfortable room, delicious food (too many options to choose from!) and drink, fun daily activities and entertainment... the list goes on! Lara Barut well and truly exceeded my expectations - the food, cocktails not made from pre-mix, the rooms, everything was fabulous. We stayed in the Lagoon view rooms and it was a stunning view at night from the balcony. The hotel is extremely well maintained and with such friendly staff - especially Sait who made my birthday dinner extremely memorable and Nika who was an all around lovely soul. Reception staff also couldn't do more for you, was very sad to leave.

For people with celiac disease it would be very helpful to have a quick meeting with the chef, to discuss what options are available etc. It will the person with the celiac disease give a much better feeling when entering the restaurant and ordering food.

Glutenfree options for celiac were a little bit tricky, as you never know if it came to cross contamination etc. But everything was great! The contact through Whatsapp with guest relations made everything easy and possible. Big shoutout to them!
