Beautiful old hotel in a good location. Check-in service was excellent. Large, comfortable room. Would be a good place to base yourself if visiting some of the local tourist attractions.

The location of the hotel. Very steep streets around the hotel making it difficult to walk around that area.

Just some small niggles, for example: we were left without soap and toilet roll one day. I requested an extra pillow 3 times but it never appeared. I had to log in to the wifi a few times a day, it dropped signal every so often. The roll out/camping bed was a little uncomfortable. The floor drain in the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. No major faults though.

The hotel is brimming with Ottoman flair, certainly not your standard hotel interior. Some may find it old fashioned but I found it to have an authentic Turkish feel. The pool is tiny (I'm guessing 5x3 meters) but welcome after a long day sightseeing. The location is fantastic, not far from the Blue Mosque and I appreciated watch the sunsets from the roof terrace. Breakfast was sufficient to set you up for the day. A selection of salads, cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, eggs yogurt and cereals. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

The staff does an excellent job. They do everything to give you the time of your life. Delicious Breakfast buffet with lots different variaties. Hotel just outside the noise ,hustle and bustle. Just 8 min walk to the blue mosque etc. Interior in old Turkish style. When we checked in we were upgraded to the superior room with huge balcony . I will choose this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Directions to restaurants, tours, taxis or even buying a public transport card are often more expensive than when you find your own way.

- Room finish is subpar, looks like the works were done by amateurs. - Found items from previous visitors in the bathroom, sign that the cleaning was not thorough.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff is very helpful and polite. Breakfast was great Hotel offers a nice atmosphere.

Regal decor and comfortable, great location out of all the noise but close enough to centre. Nice pool/spa area open until midnight. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, very obliging, kind chamber maid ☺️

We loved the breakfast which was continental and some traditional turkish food as well. The style of the building and the interiour was fabulous. The staff was very kind, they helped in everything. We loved the cruise thst they offered for us. Thanks a lot for this experience with your place.

The shower pipe was leaking and shower and not very powerful, it requires some maintenance as there was small amounts of mould.

The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. They were very welcoming and also catered well as we had a baby. In addition, the room size was very good as was the buffet breakfast in the morning with a large choice of different foods. Having a swimming pool was also a bonus!

The room was smaller than we expected.

It was our first time in Istanbul. The hotel is in a good central location. The staff was very kind and very helpful. In general they did everything to make our stay pleasant! The breakfast was rich and satisfying. The room was always clean. We will definitely stay there next time!

The family room was a little cramped but overall it was good value for money.

Great location for seeing the main sites and a very nice breakfast and pool area. The hotel was comfortable and staff were attentive.

There wasn’t any massage service, although he name of the hotel spa. For spa procedure we have to walk a few meters. Not a problem, but a bit weird for the hotel with the Spa in the name. Turkish bath is empty, but wasn’t very clean. Manageable. Sauna and steam didn’t have any smell, I was happy that it was working at all. Maybe we came not in season. Swimming pool is small, but was warm and fully operational.

Room was small but clean. Everything is a bit old, renovation would be recommended. Although name is Spa - there are no spa services.

Location was perfect! Everything was close, walking distance. Many good restaurants around. Room was clean, staff is super helpful.

The fruit juice at breakfast was very watery. The neighbouring rooms were very noisy. We could hear loud talking after midnight, and a lot of screaming and shouting at 3am one night. I slept with earplugs in.

The pool and spa were very nice, and were open late. Breakfast was okay. I liked the location near many restaurants. It was too cold to make the most of the roof terrace and garden, but I'm sure they are lovely if it is warm and sunny.

Small spa area.

The staff is very professional. They offer tours, pick up and drop off from the hotel for the tours, which was helpful for me as I was traveling alone. The cleaning ladies are always nice and smiling. The room is cleaned every day and a new 1.5 liter bottle of water is provided daily. After an 8-day stay, I received a gift from the hotel, which was very nice.
