How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

no
location is just 7-10 minutes on foot from the Taxim square and the Taxim metro station. The hotel is quite new, staff is friendly and multilanguage speaking. Room was clean and stylish, bath room was very good (clean, no signs of dirt or mould).

Fresh smell of cigarettes coming into my bedroom a couple times eventhough it should be a “non smoking” hotel.
The service of the staff is amazing. They will help you with anything with a big smile. The rooms are comfortable and have a luxury style. It has all the things you need like a safe, minibar etc. The breakfast has plenty to choose from.

instruction activity in Hotel (they change some carpet in some floors) lobby had not any services and no music playing

The room was too hot AC did not work after so many calls they turned the AC on, but again, the second night, it was supper hit and stuffy. When I talked to them again, they said ok we turn it on. I do not appreciate the fact that we paid so much and didn't have control over our own room temperature. Also, the GYM was not open until 8Am. (weird). Everyone goes to GYM EARLY AM NOT 8AM. basically high price for nothing.
The hotel was nice and looked historical room was good size bed was comfy

In the corridors there was a lot of noise from tenants who shouted or talked loudly and did not enter their rooms. Of course, this is not the responsibility of the hotel but bad guests. At breakfast it was very crowded and not so clean because of so many people.
Central location. Helpful staff. I had stayed at the hotel again in 2009 and that's why I went back, but unfortunately is not the same, it needs a little renovation.

Best breakfast buffet ever! Beautiful hotel with kind attentive staff. Clean comfortable room and the pool and gym are great! The location of this hotel was perfect!!

Excellent location. Underground parking nearby, the whole center of the city and transportation network is nearby. The hotel is decent but much more is needed to be a 5 star hotel.

The customer service was exceptional. Guzel made our stay exceptional, with special attention to detail, the preparation of my daughter's birthday, and his whole attitude towards our expectations. She was interested in our every need and immediate response to meet our expectations. Yuksel was supportive and attentive too. Because of Guzel, we would return to the hotel again.

The room does not have soundproofing. You can hear the noise of the elevator and also the snoring of guests at neighbouring rooms😴 But overall, it was good

Rooms were not sound proof and every little noise from outside can be heard inside the rooms, specially very early morning.
