Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWhen we would call reception from our room for a task, they would do it 2/10 times. It's as if we are disturbing their comfort. Also the cleaning lady would clean our room really late. She did do a good job but she would clean it around 3-4pm which was not suitable for us. Snother thing was that the iron wasn't working and we told the staff about this but they still gave us the same iron that doesn't work.
Nice reception. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. A.C. is really good.

Great staff and very attentive people which I really appreciate. I really loved the bed. Their blue pillow omg, so comfortable. The room was clean and pretty. Great location, you have the mosque and grand brazaar from a walking distance especially when you are staying only a few days in Istanbul

Location is perfect, walking distance to most of the numerous attractions. Breakfast is reasonable, rooms were a bit small, good enough for a decent night rest. Would need a bigger room if I would be staying inside for longer period. Hotel restaurant is ok, also many good restaurants in vicinity.
