Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

I mostly booked this hotel because of the balcony seating area. And although we spent most of our time in Alsancak, we enjoyed the walk from the hotel. The Izmir Kulture Park is minutes away.

United KingdomPeople started to decorate outside my room. 22:00 Painting the walls. l told them to move but another 1 hour still carry on. Builders had no respect. Short lady in the restaurant was putting presidents speech on the TV every morning. l feel very politically disturbed first thing in the morning. Didn’t feel comfortable.

United KingdomIt was quite loud from outside during the night can hear all the cars and beeping. Second day of my arrival all hotel was under reconstructions, so wasn't so pleasant and one day I had a cold water shower only. Hair dryer didn't work well. Breakfast was not good, they prepare it in advance one small plate and gives loads of bread but it looks like bread leftovers from last night everyday, so no fresh at all.
The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Location is super amazing, you can go to all the sides in walking distance. Main square 15 min walk far only. Food is amazing at topkapi restaurant which works with hotel.

Each time we visit Izmir we always get more attracted with this beautiful city and the friendly people. This hotel is located very close to the center and of course to the market place including the big bazzar. The staff is great and always helpful. The breakfast though should be more delicated and with little more variety of food except eggs and bread... Also the room we ve been accomodated was full of space and facilities. Also the view from the balcony was nice, but furniture and some of the facilities are needing immediate restoration!!!
