Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

QatarThe bed sheets were dirty and looked didn’t wash since long time , pillows covers were full with hair. As well as the bathroom was very dirty and no one clean it, also full of hair. The noise from the road was annoying my sleep till early morning. It was horrible to spend the night in such a dirty room.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was good near to Istiklal street and transportations.

I don't consider it a hotel , i feel sorry that a very good site like booking.com adds this on its list . There was no service at all, no one at the reception, i paid alot of money for nth , whenever i ask the only guy who consider himself a receptionist about a blanket or extentions he tell me go buy. Broken furniture I couldn't even take a photos in the hotel to share with friends i was embarrassed to share that i stayed there, No shampoo No soaps No lift only disturbing stairs Towels weren't clean

FranceIn the bathroom, I've noticed that you have a problem with the shower drain. It takes hours for the water to drain completely. When I arrived in the room on the first day, there was a bad smell of smoking and the toilet was even worse, it smelled unpleasantly bad. On booking you didn't show the view behind the windows, now I know why and it's not very fair because you're hiding things from your paying customers who think they've paid for something correct when they see it! But you've sold them a lie. And once they've paid, they discover all the imperfections you've hidden from them. WiFi doesn't work. And sometimes there are people behind my window, it's scary to sleep with the curtains and windows open to let the room air out, and all of a sudden you're woken up by people standing behind the windows. I don't want to know who these people are or what they're doing there, it's none of my business, but there should be a limit to how far he can intrude into the customer's comfort zone.

IranThe property was not clean as expected. Hairs could be seen everywhere. No signal was available in the TV. No drinkable water is served in the room and guests have to get it from the reception office.
The location was close to Taksim square and I had easy access to both Visa Application Center, Istiklal St., and Transport system. The room’s fridge helps have cold drinks available. It is located in a quiet place during nights.

ItalyFirst room we stayed in: was under the ground, mold everywhere, bad small coming from the bathroom, small and uncomfortable beds. Second room: sheets and pillow case weren’t clean, wi-fi not always working properly, not enough space, only one big light no side bed lights, old bathroom, hair dryer isn’t working. General: the staff doesn’t speak any english, you have to communicate with google translator, they don’t answer the phone or e-mails. No elevator to go to upper floors, rooms don’t look like in the pictures, no food or snacks available, poor cleaning service. The place is situated in a very central area (taksim) which is however not safe at all, no locals are leaving there, there are protests/riots very often. Towels available only on request (not always properly clean), sheets were left unchanged for 4 days till I asked for them to be replaced. The staff is not very available and the communication with them equals to 0, they are very closed minded and even complained because I was innocently kissing with a friend in the street (in front of the hotel) and asked me to show a marriage certificate. They didn’t give us any usefull information or help with taxis, how to go around the city, how to reach the airport.
