It is a Turkish thing, not peculiar to this hotel, but we are not very keen on their sleeping sheet things. We like a duvet more. But there is nothing not to like about Joya

Beautiful, just perfect Stayed here before my wedding and the staff were excellent, we had a great Check-in process and when we were shown our room the bed had been prepared so beautiful with flowers such a perfect touch We booked the king suite because of the beautiful terrace , we had 2 super breakfast and dinner here , credits for the chef as the quality of the food was amazing Nothing was any bother when we asked for little things to help Prepare us for the wedding Highly recommend and will definitely stay again

they seemed short staffed for cleaning. we had to call the reception every time for housekeeping. the food quality on premises were average.

The rooms are small...very small. the hotel was not designed with Britishh in mind. the British have an issue with inside space probably as we spend so much time indoors. We were in a junior suite for 4 people. We asked for another bed as our children (boy and girl are 12 and 15), The sofa bed is not big enough for them to share and nor should they. Once the other camp bed went in there was no room to move or even store 4 cases. The room was not cleaned as we would have liked and found our feet were dirty as a result. It was quite expensive but honestly, if large crowds of tourists are not your thing this hotel is a piece of heaven.

The beach and location was absolutely beautiful and would be the main reason for returning. It was private and away from the crowds. A short and relatively inexpensive taxi ride into Marmaris to eat in the evenings if you wanted to.

we were at the beginning of the season. the hotel was quite. we were enjoying swim at the morning in a calm water and silence. the breakfast is perfect, staff are very helpful and friendly.

An amazing traditional breakfast with fresh ingredients and different varieties to choose from. Truly great service! Room quite, clean and very well organized with a great bathroom. Once again, great service starting with the reception desk, restaurant and finally housekeeping.

Wifi is a bit dodgy in places.

What’s not to like? Beautiful spot, very comfortable facilities down to small details like nice shower gel and shampoo, towel robes, great breakfast, restaurant has some great food (chocolate soufflé was to die for!). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is set on a glorious private white sand beach.

1. We arrived at the end of October and we couldn’t use AC to cool the room, it was set at 25 degrees and was too hot for us, we’re suggested to open the window.

Amazing view, nice private beach, friendly staff. Hotel location is good for people with car, very quite. Breakfast was also tasty. The room was clean, with a nice stylish touch.

A little pricey for what they serve and should allocate adult only side only he beach

V nice rooms, exceptional service, very good breakfast and food in general. Very spacious rooms and clean, good a/c and the beach is extremely close, and my room was away from the kiddie pool

The beach was littered with plastic and garbage. The menu wasn't really for International clientele. Our eggs had shells in them for 3 consecutive days. I was really hoping for at least a 4* experience and I'm sad to day, we didn't get that. Hospitality was sub par and that may be because very few employees actually spoke English so it was difficult to communicate. Our concerns.

I liked the view from the beach, I didn't mind the distance from the center because I wanted to opt for a less polluted beach. The internet worked well our whole stay. Our rooms were clean, the mattress was ok.

Employees should get to know the property better. I had a Hotel Key with the name of the Hotel on it and the Beach/Pool guy said I did not belong here and it was not valid to get a towel even though I stayed there 5 nights. Very upsetting. Things like this occurred every day and the management blames it on language problems but that is not true since they understand "towel", "black coffee" and "check/bill" all of which there was mass confusion over.

Excellent location, view and beach. Too bad the owners, management and employees are very confused.

My husband has mobility issues. I had ordered a deluxe sea view room. These rooms are upstairs without an elevator. We were placed in an extremely small room, limited view on the first floor. The room had no chairs, table, or luggage rack. You needed to walk around the bed to use the bathroom or exit the room. The space between the foot of the bed and wall was approximately 12- 14 inches. However, there was a shelf jutting out from the wall approximately 4-5 inches. How is a handicapped person suppose to walk around in this room? I have black and blue marks on both legs from walking around the bed. The worst part is I was charged for the deluxe room. No adjustment was made to the price. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Istanbul for less money!! In addition, in order to lock the only door in or out of the room from the inside you needed the key. When you take the key out of the holder all electricity in the room shuts off. It was a disaster.

The location is lovely. The beach and pool were enjoyable. A short ride to town.
