Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe cleaning stuff needs to improve themselves. No clean towels were given, even if the cleaning lady said they were clean, there were marks all over the towels, and they were smelling pretty bad. The food was repeating itself, sometimes not very delicious. There needs to be an improvement of the playground area.
The location is very nice, the center is 5 min from the hotel. The room was nice, although there were a lot of stairs. Both swimming pools were clean and the food was alright. The service was very good and the entertainment was excellent 👌.

United KingdomWe found broken glass in the pool. Our bedding had not been changed in 4 days after we request it to be done. The Dj had been double booked himself one night. We had to sit with no music or entertainment. Mineral entertainment for kids. Charge for extra activities The bar is not all inclusive, for free you only get Gin, beer , wine. Need to pay extra for whisky & pink Gin ect. After 11pm, you need to pay for drinks. “All inclusive” Stops.
Me and my family really liked the pool. The bar staff have been so lovely, really friendly to talk to.

United KingdomThe bar staff are extremely rude and the hotel is next to a mosque so you are woken by the call for prayer at 0430.

United KingdomThe hotel is very close to a Mosque 🕌 So @ 6am you are woken up by the praying through a very loud speaker. This happens about 4/5 times a day.
Nice hotel definitely will return.

United KingdomWhen booked I requested a ground floor room as I am disabled, made that very clear but when we got there we was put on the top floor....5 flights of stairs . The whole hotel and even the pool is stairs , everywhere you go is stairs. Not good if your disabled and find it hard to walk and just recovering from a heart attack.
Receptionist was golden , the staff was great , the hotel was fair.

United KingdomThe noise from entertainment was unbearable and went on until 1.00 and my friends had a 4 month old baby which was woken up constantly by the extremely loud music. The drinks contained little alcohol, if any. I was given a blue Pina Colada which was clearly wrong. Staff didn’t know how to make cocktails and the gin and vodka tasted like something else - horrible. There were stairs everywhere which made it difficult to get around for anyone with compromised mobility or a child’s push chair. I asked for ground floor having recently had a knee replacement. I had to climb up a set of stairs and walk down the same number to get to my ‘ground floor’ apartment. My friend has MS and found it very difficult. There were stairs to the restaurant and pool. Getting around was difficult. The food was awful - cold and the same things every day, mainly chicken and red pepper stew or something, and despite being all inclusive, we ate out mostly . We we’re pestered to go on scratch cards at £5 per go, or the daily bingo game. It was annoying.
Clean, and lovely pool area. Close to centre.
