Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel is in a grate location close to everything the staff are very good and try to help you with all you need during you’re stay WIFI is an added which is bonus the rooms are clean and spacious with TV and satellite kettle completely coffee tea shower gel shampoo provided this is a grate hotel and will be booking again it was a pleasure to stay there big thanks to all the staff

I especially like Myy Boutique Hotel's front office employees when they willingly complied my special request to have my important perishable foods to be kept in their freezer to avoid spoilage because the fridge in our hotel room has not enough cooling capacity needed. We indeed found our special food well-frozen and preserved when we checked- out the following morning. Also, they helped us get a taxi going to the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in the wee hours of the morning (5:00 A.M.), Thank you Myy for having such a courteous and professional staff.

RussiaThe room was quite worn down — wallpapers coming off, broken flush in the toilet, broken doors (and one missing) in the shower.
The staff were very helpful although didn't speak English (the receptionist had to call the manager so I could ask him the questions). But they really did their best! They ordered a taxi when I was checking out and asked to get to Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The room was very quite despite the busy street outside, and the air conditioning was very efficient (important in that heat!). The bed was very comfortable, too. The breakfast was typical Turkish, complete with tea — no coffee option. The location is particularly great — only 20 min drive from Sabiha Gokcen Airport and lots of shops, cafes, and pharmacies nearby. And the seaside promenade is 15 min walk away!
