Unfortunately, even though windows were pretty soundproof and no noises were coming from the street, I would wake up couple of time from very loud metallic sounds at like 3am… Also, because the room is above the pub it had a very strong smell of cigarettes even if you close the windows.

It’s very close to Taksim square, center and all the different restaurants and shops. Apartment itself was very clean, the bed was very comfortable.

No lift but the staff helped me carry to my room on 4e floor. Thanks to him. Shower floor needs some cleaning or renovation. The place is in bar/club area, I could hear some soft (beat) music till 4-5 am. But what I DID NOT like most is because all the units are above the pub, when it is cold, the pub puts plastic sheet cover the ground floor area, so the customers can sit and smoke in the warm place. The cigarette smell comes up the stairs and comes into my room. I could smell cigarette in my room from around 10 am when the cleaning lady smoked at the stairs or while cleaning,... and until around 2 or 3 am when the pub closed... If they install ventilator on top of the stairs, it might help with cigarette smell problem.

The price is good. Location is perfect, can walk to shops and restaurants in short distance. Also not far from metro station. The bed is firm, with many pillows. Water pressure is very strong and hot. Nice view on 4e floor.

Location was very convenient from Taksim Square. Walking distance from the bus station, tram and the main market lane. Surrounded by beautiful and buzzing pubs. Room was cozy.

I wasn't given the front door code on arrival so when I got back at 4am I couldn't get in. Two calls fixed it but it easily could not have been the case. The beer barrels get delivered at 5am just below the bedroom so if you're a light sleeper it won't be for you as there's lots of clanking. That said, it only bothered me once when I'd already woken up but I did go back to sleep..

The room was like the pictures and clean with decent amenities. Location was right in the middle of a popular bar area just off the main shopping street. The host down in the pub was friendly and tried his best with his English. He also lent me an umbrella. Good response to help request out of hours.

Smoke from downstairs customers was something to get used to. Some people may not like the noise but it’s a busy area with bars and pubs. Wasn’t an issue for me but it’s something to note for light sleepers

The bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The apartment was dated making it appear like it needed more of a clean. It was noisy (being in a bar and nightclub district) but once we had the air-conditioning on we couldn't hear the noise.

This hotel was in a fab location and (despite is faults) was good value for money. The air conditioning was good.

The blankets were not clean so we were not able to use them and it does get noisy since it's a studio above a pub. Other than that, everything else was great and the location was the best part.

The location was terrific. It was in the middle of Taksim square and walking anywhere was easy. The hosts were amazing and carried our heavy luggage which we sincerely appreciated.

The property is in the middle of Taksim and next to Istiklal Street. It’s surrounded by pubs, yet you don’t hear anything from the room. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are very clean and perfectly warmed up in winter.

The entire apartment smelled like smoke and the noise levels coming from the bar below were very loud - continuing until between 1-3am every night and then starting up again first thing in the morning.

WiFi was a little temperamental, but not too much of an issue.

I spent 8 days here over the festive period and it was a truly wonderful experience. The room is above a bustling and friendly bar and metres away from the main shopping street and close to all major attractions. Jin, Arnan, Serhat and all the team were simply amazing. The room itself was large, comfortable and very well designed. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to staying again.

I booked the Suite with Balcony unit. The photos on Booking.com looked nice but on arrival the apartment was very tiny for 4 of us. The photos were all in wide angle and were deceptive. The location was slightly on the off. We saw couple of punches flying around between few locals. Many “5$ Lady of the night” were there on the main road right across the AirBnB. No elevator. Tiny area staircase, so carrying the luggage up and then down was not a great experience.

The apartment is much smaller than what it looks in the pictures. The bed is quite small. The kettle in the room was not very clean and we had to buy dishwashing liquid to clean it ourselves. The worst part is the towels and duvets for the bed are kept in an open cupboard in the bathroom next to the toilet. We did not use the duvets and asked for an additional sheet to cover ourselves. We stayed at the place for 6 nights and the room was not cleaned on a single day. Conversing in English with the property owner or staff is quite difficult but they are more responsive on WhatsApp. Do not underestimate the noise from the bar downstairs and on the streets. We stayed on the first floor apartment and the noise was like we were on the street. The noise often goes on till 4 or 5 am in the morning.

Close to Taksim square and public transport, the bed was comfortable. The property owner was responsive.
