How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Since the hotel opened it's doors in 1998, I think this hotel has reached a point where it does not need improve anything further, they just have to maintain the standard and keep going.
Titanic has always been my home in Istanbul, you can never go wrong with the price and location. Hotel is very well maintained, clean and quiet. Got a room with balcony to enjoy the view and the cool breeze. Location is perfect with sim card availability, small groceries, tea stalls and very nice restaurants around. Hotel has three lifts so guests don't have to wait for long. Looking forward to my next trip to Istanbul to stay at Titanic City once again.

hopefully for titanic group which they are big group. to change some bad mentality. specially the old guy in the night sheft .. he charge me 120 euro extra coz i was with my guest. and no reason for that and start to shout. the room was in my name and i payed all it was only matter of one second to add name of guest in booking reservation.. unfortunately old guy and hungry .. but honestly the day staff were friendly and very nice and helpful..
the location is good . u can reach to isteklal street very easy .

Very nice clean and calm hotel . Great location too. Staff always ready to help specially Haroun who was very polite, helpful and always had a smiley face . Will definitely stay there on my next visit .

They should adjust the key system as not working many times during my stay.

The breakfast buffet was limited and repeated
I have enjoyed staying at this amazing hotel. The location is very good and the staff are very nice and helpful especially Burak, Maryam and Ercan. I would recommend staying here and try their spa which was excellent.

The check-in procedure: we were checking in with tired toddlers and kids. Although the whole payment was made, the staff at the reception was adamant that we pay the security deposit before he can handover the keys, although my spouse was available at reception and going through the procedure (which was also because of the staff unable to reconcile our payments). My kids had to sleep on the lobby couches for 30 mins until they got their head around it and finally gave me the keys. I suggest their check-in policy needs to be a bit more kid friendly.
Titanic city is a very luxurious hotel in my opinion. It provides the travellers with all the luxury and comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean and the furniture is very trendy and up to date. The cleaning staff does well during their house keeping session. The best thing about the hotel was its breakfast. A huge variety of edibles and different cuisines were available. The location of this hotel is another big plus, its just about 5 mins walk from Taksim Square and has a lot of restaurants, sheesha places and clubs around it. Also very useful to have an ATM right across the road.
