The shower had a bit of mold 😅

We got upgraded to a room with a window which was really nice. In Taipei it's common to get cheaper rooms without windows. We only stayed for one night so it would have been okay but we got the upgrade and really appreciated it. I forgot my iPad in the room and was on the way to South of Taiwan for a week and they kept the iPad for me till my trip back to Taipei. I really appreciated it 😊

Hotel was a little difficult to find, but that was probably due to our lack of knowledge of the area and the fact that two hotels shared the same building. The "City View" was a little uninspiring and not worth paying extra money for.

The hotel as ideally situated for access to the Taiwan Main Railway station, a short 10 min walk away. The room was adequate for our one night stays as we arrived in and departed from Taiwan. The reception area was comfortable and you were welcome to BYO food and beverages to consume there. Breakfast was more plentiful and varied. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. We initially only booked one night for our arrival but chose to book again for our departure.

Theres a few negative reviews about the hotels breakfast, cleanliness, shower drainage, and noise which made me hesitate while booking. but thankfully my experience room 704 was amazing. I just wish that they could stretch their breakfast time a little bit longer.

Room is a little small.

The location was walking distance to the train station and ximending. My kid loves the play area at the lobby which has a variety of toys. We experienced 6.0 & 6.3 magnitude there but the building held up well without any visible damages.

Connecting rooms for family

Location is excellent, close to everything, rooms are small but bathroom is very functional, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good as it has both eastern and western food, overall, it’s very good and I would recommend this hotel .

The reception is in the basement and for the elevator you need a key card. Makes the check-in and out with heavy luggage tricky. Or maybe there is a magic trick I didn't know about.

I felt safe as a female solo traveller, also in the area around. Good connection to the airport metro. Walking distance to some sights. Good food all around the place. Would stay again

Was difficult to find initially as reception is in the basement of the building and signange could be improved. I found the windowless rooms a little claustrophobic (but that's a me thing!).

The location was excellent. There is a cute theme to the hotel. Free snacks and laundry were also much appreciated. Good value given the location of the hotel.

I stayed at two different rooms. First one had mould in a corner of the room and the sink stinked when water was on. Second room had none of these but still unfortunately in both, there was a smell of humidity through AC ducts which forced me to shut it off and sleep with open windows. Hotel is actually clean but seems to be getting old and humidity is eating it by day.

Excellent staff! Hotel provides unlimited water, tea, coffee, snacks and also noodles as well which becomes pretty convenient. Location is close by to many places. I want to emphasize how helpful the staff is again.

Cleanliness needs to be addressed. The room was quite dirty - stains on the walls, bed skirt, and carpet. Cracks in the tiles in the bathroom. Dirt accumulated in the corners of the room. You can tell this was a very nice hotel… a few years ago.

Location location location! Super close to Taipei Main Station, walking distance to tons of historic sites, trendy Ximending and great local spots like Raohe night market. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast buffet is great, and the complimentary ramen and snack bar came in clutch for late night snacks!

The drain in the bathroom in our room was clogged on our first night but I kinda fixed it myself though sometimes there’s a random bad smelling coming out the drain and we can smell it from the bed.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Hang out area near lobby was spacious and filled with delicious snacks and noodles! Location was awesome! Close to shops and train stations. Service to get some taiwan snacks delivered was a great idea!

There was a bad smell in the bathroom and some mold in the room. These aspects lowered my opinion on what otherwise would have been a really good place.

The snacks were a nice detail and the TV channel options were good. The staff in the breakfast area were kind and the options, if you like an Asian breakfast, were decent.

Many of the guests at this hotel are people with young kids. That's not surprising, since they have arcade games and a play room in the lounge. Some of those kids won't stop jumping and running around their room until midnight. As a result, at times, it can be hard to get some peace and quiet, due to all the thuds coming from the walls. Having said that. This only happened a couple of times during my stay. Maybe I was unlucky.

We had a great time at Finder's. The staff is very nice and the rooms are cozy and clean. There are free drinks and snacks available all day. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Taipeh Main Station, so extremely convenient.

"city view" in our room description was a little bit of an overstatement, but I still enjoyed the room with a window. Still good value.
