the window between restroom and bedroom cannot be locked and very thin. so the room is suitable to lovers or very close families. not recomendable to business visitors my nephew played with the restroom windows opening closing them and singing "into the unkwon"

great view of daan park, very close to metro (daan park station), many yammy food restaurant around, very close to bus stop and u-bike station(which has may bikes always), kind staffs, unique combination of oriental and rococo decoration (hotel walls are european rococo, the room wall is chinese deco) bath tub was big and water comes out and drains out well

Couldn't change the temperature of the air-conditioning which was too cold for me. However it could be turned off and there was an opening window which gave options.

Location - close to MRT but note that the nearest exit 1 is all steps (and there are a lot of them). Exit 6 is a bit further away but has escalators and an elevator. The view over Daan Park is great.

Beautifully decorated internal atrium and corridors, old world charm. Large room, comfortable bed, comfortable antique furniture (day bed, chair, desk), big shower. Small no frills reception area doesn't reflect the quality and size of the rooms. Hotel is so close to Daan Park metro station and well connected to heaps of bus routes. Overlooking Da'an Park, the best spot in Taipei (in my opinion!!). Free washing machine and dryer

- Lighting was slightly low in the rooms - Furniture also felt a bit old - The bar soap could probably be replaced with hand soap to reduce waste

- Location was really good next to Daan park, MRT is also close to go to other places - We had rented a car and free parking was super nice - Room was mighty big with a park view, very comfortable - Staff was really friendly with us

Drain noise from the next room was a bit annoying. Shower space partition could be a bit wider.

Really close to MRT station exit #1. However this exit has no lift/escalator. Recomend to use #6 if you need them. Jugzzy was awesome. Supermarket and 7-11 is in walking distance.

I remembered picking this place for the breakfast, but I forgot about it. I don't think I was reminded about that when checking in. It's mostly my fault so I can't hold it against the hotel.

The location was fantastic. Literally 200 meters or so from the subway exit, I'd say this is about as convenient as it can get. It's also right next to the Da An park, so it's wonderful to wander around. I feel there were fair number of options around too, for dining options, but I feel Taiwan in general is a very fun place to find delicous food in.

It was all good!

The hotel is not new and has a retro feel with its decorations. It is kept greatly functional for travellers. The location is what my family likes best - next to the train station, opposite a beautiful part and near a bustling shopping and food paradise. The original Din Tai Fung is nearby and Taipei 101 is down the same street and just two stations away.

The room is not very big, but the bathroom is big with a massive jacuzzi. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi everyday. Location is absolutely unbeatable, there are so many restaurants, convenient stores around. They also offer free snacks in the after for afternoon tea. The front desk staffs are also very helpful and accommodating. They definitely made our stay very easy and comfortable. Another plus is they have laundry facilities in the carpark for free of charge!!! So we didn't have to take our clothes to a laundry mat to wash.

Missing a breakfast option. Hotel decoration is a little dated. Ceiling mirrors over bed is not to everyone's taste.
