  “This is a beautiful old hotel, designed by Julia Morgan. The courtyard is a great place to read a book. The breakfast was excellent, especially the two types of quiche. We didn't have enough time to explore everything we wanted to at the hotel, including the indoor pool and the small Julia Morgan museum. We will stay there again on our next trip to Berkeley.”

  “Pleasant and helpful staff. We arrived before the scheduled check-in, and the room was available before: very useful. The location is excellent: very close to UC Berkeley, BART station (Downtown Berkeley) and a grocery store (Trader Joe's). The room was equipped with a coffee maker and a microwave. The price was also less than in the surrounding hotels.”
