The only thing I can think of is that the little concierge book needs to be updated. Other than that my stay was comfortable and pleasant and relaxing.

The room was conveniently located near the beach but also in town within walking distance to everything I needed on this trip. It was also quite warm in the room which was perfect for the brisk spring breezes coming off the ocean at night. And an added bonus, they were kind enough to store my bags after checkout so I didn't have to lug everything around as I waited for my departure time. I'd definitely go back!

When we first arrived, there was a group of very loud guests. But, they were sitting near the pool. And, fortunately, they were quiet after dinner time.

The location is excellent - right near the beach (within walking distance) and in town. No need to drive anywhere; can walk to shops and restaurants. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely clean and a comfortable size..

I read the past reviews after booking and was worried I had made a huge mistake bringing my family (we have two toddlers) on July 4 weekend but I was very pleasantly surprised! The rooms were renovated and clean. Yes, at 36 we were the oldest guests there by a decade (lol) but we really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the pool was great for the kids. We brought sound machines for sleeping so we didn’t hear much from the pool area. My only complaint is that we were on the first floor and we could hear every step made on the second floor above us. We are EXTREMELY light sleepers so that kept us up a bit, but not enough to stop my from going back (and the kids slept through it). Given it was the most economical choice for us, I would return. This is a motel / a place to sleep, not a luxury hotel. If you understand that, I think you’ll enjoy your stay.

I can't stress enough how impressed I was with their affordable rates. What's even better is that the inn is conveniently located just a short 3-minute walk from the beach and several restaurants. The housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly, and the check-in/out process was a breeze. I wholeheartedly recommend the Wave Inn to anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free stay. My friend was freezing the whole time as there was a massive gap under the door. The curtains didn’t close properly & 2 of the smaller windows had no curtains or blinds. The shower was luke warm

Received an email from booking.com stating that we could check in between 9-10 AM. We drove a couple of hours earlier with 7 children. There were no rooms available at that time. Lucking the motel clerk allowed us to put our cooler in her office. Booking.com needs to correct their email responses.
