How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Noisey as hell on the back side! The hotel is surrounded by highways so not much to be done now. Room had spackle all over the walls from repairs and noone bothered to paint them. 1 tiny trash can. Small changes would make a big difference. Clerk was new and didn't know how to use the computer system. No breakfast and covid signs up blaming it for the reason. Gotta get over that! It was 4 years ago! Get a vaccine! Price was very good though.
The price was very good but then again there were literally minimal amenities too. Room clean and comfortable. Bed good.

Definitely needs a huge update!! Looked like there was holes all over the walls … Bathroom door didn’t even close , No Breakfast in the winter ? Like what is that ? Why is it advertised if you don’t have it ?

It was extremely irritating that the wifi wasn't working and it was down for the entire stay. This was frustrating and made it difficult to connect with necessary people. There were no updates or explanations as to what was happening. Very poor customer service overall. The heater was very loud after about 2 hours of use so it needed to be turned off at night.
The location was good, very near the shopping area which was especially good for the season. The room had good overall space in the main area and the beds were comfortable.

Their system kept going down so you couldn't pay with a card. The rooms needed a little updating but to be totally honest with you. Nowadays with the economy it was perfect for the price. As they say you get what you pay for.
The front desk lady was very helpful. she also was super nice and friendly. They kept the lobby super clean and presentable.

The attention given by the girls were more than regular. Some of the towels in the shower were dirty, seems like those weren't replaced.

See 1st box for some issues. Your mattresses were terrible. It's obviously been awhile since they were updated. Your furniture is somewhat worn which is expected, but there was a drawer that wouldn't close. No alarm clock, which was OK with us. We have senior relatives who do not carry phones. All hotels it seems, could use more hangers. Styrafoam cups wrapped in plastic is not earth friendly at all. I didn't see any signs about being being given option not to have sheets changed daily. This would be earth friendly and have reduced employee work load.
Went to get hot water for tea at about 6:20am water was only tepid. With breakfast starting at 6a I expected hot water. Obviously, the staff had not checked this. The staff did go to fill container right away once I brought it to their attention. Of course it took awhile. Once I had gotten water I told staff I had used most of it and they should fill again. I didn't see a response. My husband went to get his breakfast at about 8:30 am. There was no fruit, not even a banana. Sorry, I got the boxes mixed up. Facility was exceptionally clean. I saw personnel cleaning the public areas and they were working very hard and paying attention to detail areas. My husband checked the site that deals with bedbug reports or findings. You were rated exceptional. Parking available for free, which would be expected at a location like yours.

There in renovation. First room broken bathroom door and cover over the heat unit fell off. Gave different room. There was no soap by the sink had to reach into shower for soap so could wash up in sink. Breakfast was not stocked or refilled.
