How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The parking was$20. The first time we stayed, the room was comfortable and clean. The second time the room wasn't as comfortable and the staff wasn't as comfortable and I was charged $20 to park. I wasn't charged for parking the previous week. The rooms were both on the 9th floor and one bedroom suites. The first stay was awesome and very comfortable. The second wasn't as good.
There was no deposit. Restaurant on the first floor and a gift shop. Comfortable room. Lots of restaurants near by and close to Disneyland.

Water was backing up in sink. Cleaning staff didn’t come around unless to clean a vacated room, so there were empty food bags and containers outside many rooms making it look pretty trashy.
Front desk staff was nice. Starbucks in the lobby was great. Comfy beds and pillows. Microwave and fridge in room. Spacious room.

Property was in great location. Small parking area staff very unfriendly specially late night when we arrived.We got a handicap room. Room definitely updates needs updating.

Reviews said it was a close walk to the parks, but it wasn't. Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and loud.
Very clean, very nice staff, nice showers. The mattress and pillows were also very soft as well.

The bathroom was not that clean, and the carpet has a big stain. It was covered with the chair, but when we use the sofa bed, we had to move the chair.
The location is near Disneyland.

The staff were sometimes quite short, and I get that it's covid, but sometimes they come off as quite snooty when they say things aren't available or that's not the way things are supposed to go. It really seemed like when asking them about things, we were inconveniencing them. This was not the case that I saw for the special members.

WiFi was terrible. Plumbing was also terrible.
The staff was outstanding. Room was comfortable. Nice having a Starbucks in the lobby. Gift shop was excellent.

Paying for parking $20 a night is ridiculous. I paid to stay there but my car was extra... Also the room was small and there was no sink for the kitchette so the bathroom sink was used to make coffee...kinda gross

The bathroom has no vent and the Hall way has a bad smell. The rooms had no air freshener. No shower caps in the bathroom/ shower.
Reception staff was very nice and ready to answer my questions.

Bed and sofa bed was uncomfortable, the tvs were on a timer and kept shutting off. Very annoying especially if your watching a movie. Charged for parking. No vent in the bathroom. Dirty windows. No complimentary breakfast The parking area was trashy
Was cheaper than other hotel suites and pet friendly, only charge a flat fee for dog, very friendly staff and helpful. Access to many amenities.

For being a suite I felt my family was crammed, no real room to move around and having only one restroom is the killer.
Location was great right where everything is, great scenes, food and attractions all around.

TV in living room area didn't work well at all. Coffee available but no cups. Couldn't order room service and limited reservations for meals avail. Ridiculous parking fees.

My room was kind of dated. There were essentially no amenities included in the price, which was much much higher than I would usually pay for a hotel. If the Price included anything but the room, it probably would’ve been more worth it. I had to pay for parking, of course there was no breakfast, and there was not even a free shuttle to Disneyland. You are paying for your room and your room alone.
Property was very close to Disneyland, but I still had to drive to the park. Not within walking distance. It was close to several restaurants and stores. Staff was pleasant.

Loud building sounds through out the day and night. Only provided the minimum of essentials, like one roll of toilet paper. No bag linings in the trash cans.
