Nothing, really. We wanted a nice, simple place to spend a couple of nights and the Anchor Motel was just the ticket for that.

Clean, comfortable room. Beds were very comfortable. Nice shower. Perhaps could have used a small desk for laptop computer, There was a small round table in the room but it was too little and its location within the room was hard to access. Great location adjacent to the Niagara River...very scenic. Convenient to what were doing and where we were going in the area. Good value for money. And, despite what others may have indicated in the past...the Wifi worked great. Certainly better than Xfinity, which we have back home!

The yard leading up to the river, and the walk-way along the river were in need of some maintenance and cleaning.

The staff was courteous and well-informed.The rom was clean and comfortable with 2 double beds and all the necessary amenities,ie; air conditioning, refrigeration, wi-fi. A large outdoor pool was available.The location was quiet and safe.Also,being positioned on the river,the view was a real treat,the price was very economical, and there was a good family restaurant within walking distance.

Remember that you're staying in a damp area, and maybe bring slippers or flipflops to wear in the room -- the carpet has absorbed a lot of moisture. We could hear conversations from the next room, which is expected in a motel. These are drawbacks, and not complaints. We were overall so happy with our stay.

It was easy to find and the proprietor stayed up late to check us in -- I had emailed about our expected arrival time. The room was adorable and bigger than I expected. Everything was clean and the beds were nice.

Not much-could have used a coffee pot. I’d definitely stay again.

Convenient to Niagara Falls and away from the hubub. Loved having a big green lawn and being able to sit and stare at the river. Quiet location, onsite management, free parking right at the door. There’s a good diner for breakfast and lunch a couple blocks away. “Outdated” rooms but clean and refurbished in a practical way. Comfortable bed and place to sit and a table.

Noisy road. The fact that there was a grill and an area near the river with chairs, benches outdoor table and trees, however, one of the grills was full of garbage and the other needed to be repaired. Also needed to cut the grass.

Room was dated for sure, but very clean. Cute and stylish. The view was the best! I loved the that there was a grill available and lots of area to lounge. Lawn chairs and benches.

Swimming pool is close to the road and the building next to it was being renovated (not the nicest place to swim). We wanted to enjoy a quiet afternoon in the garden, but the neighbour decided to play very loud music on his boat, for hours :-(

Shower did not get very hot, luke warm water also doorknob lock and that is all on room door but luckily was a very safe environment while staying.

Our family enjoyed the motel..it was close to the falls, yet in a quiet area away from all the congestion. Our grandkids absolutely loved the pool & spent as much time as possible in it. We had requested rooms beside each other & they accommodated us. The view of the river is so pretty too!

walking distance to Baseball HOF, restaurants, shopping in Cooperstown. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. No mildew smell, as some in other reviews have said. Stayed in the 2 story back building.
