How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing.
Check in was fast and easy. I liked that there was a microwave, refrigerator, and AC in the room. The place was clean and quiet. And had a lot of different places to eat around the area.

The place is run down and old. It was fair overall but I think I would rather spend the extra $40 for the Quality Inn next time

The micro is broken and they didn't have the ability to replace it so that was a bummer the continental breakfast was not very continental and it seems like there was a lot of people because of an extended stay that I understand why they couldn't afford to do a continental breakfast for so many people that apparently just live there so but in that the staff was amazing and it's not that I wouldn't use it again if I were to go to Spokane

Heater did not work so they brought in a space heater which worked once I found a outlet that worked , shower was hard to get water to run and adjust temp but it did the job after working with it

Room heater was broke. Only had a small space heater that barely kept the room warm.

Well, it's an old facility, but well loved in the community. Many folks seem to stay there for a while during the time it takes them to get set up.
Can't beat the price. Which means you will be staying with other guests who might be struggling a bit. But everyone was nice. There is a supermarket just across the street: very convenient! I also liked the microwave and deep sink in the room. Good TV, too.

The bed was so uncomfortable that we both had back and body aches from it. Did not know that I had to put a 100.00 room deposit found out when checking in, and the person in front of us said something to the person about the room was already paid for. The front desk person told him about the room deposit. When we were checking in, he never said anything about the room deposit.

The wifi did not work very well, the teenagers were disappointed but that would not stop me from staying there again.
Good value for the money! It was important for us to have separate sleeping areas for the kids so this worked perfectly.

Gross needles and caps all over the property and gross like they don’t clean. A lot of drug use you can tell in and out of the property not somewhere I’d stay with my family again. Not worth that price!!!!!

2 bedroom suite is actual two rooms no door separating and one of rooms has the bathroom in it so inconvenient when one party is sleeping and need to use bathroom. Recommend for family only. Not sharing accommodation with another couple.
Really close to everything. Full size fridge in Kitchen.

rooms are very dated, not as clean as I would expect, but we were happy with the room it had for 6 of us. breakfast was sparse. construction going on that made sleeping in difficult. the kitchen had hardly any dishes. we had to supply are own.

I was there for Bloomsday and needed to get some sleep, however there were a number of very loud other guests and being an old building I could hear everything.
I thought it was a good price when I booked it but since I paid at the property it was double what I had booked it at.

I walked barefoot on the carpet and got black feet so I had to wash them a couple of times a night before going to bed. Several drawer pulls were broken or missing entirely. My husband had to fix the TV so it would work.
The first room had an airconditioning problem and we were moved to a different room on the first floor which I prefer. The refrigerator was bigger, the room was quieter and closer to the ice machine.

The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were very flat. There is definitely a need to remodel or fix up. There were holes in the door of the first room and windows that didn't open in the second room.
Staff was great they were able to switch rooms when i found out the tv was broke.
