This has become one of our favorite spots in Newport. Thank you!

Our second time at Attwater and already booked another stay. Rooms are comfortable and charming. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious!

WiFi was a little slow and a bit confusing on how to turn on and off the TVs.

Wonderful location and breakfast! And we booked a queen room but either it was much larger than expected (it had an adjoining room with seating and a second tv) or they upgraded us. Not sure which. We stayed in room 3 in the Beach House property next door to the inn. Loved that they had tea, coffee, and cookies available in the lounge. There was also a good sized fridge in the room. The shower was great, with a rain fixture above and an hand wand. Bed was very poufy and comfy. Very quiet room. I'd would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The atmosphere and the decoration of the hotel were perfect. The breakfast was amazing: homemade and so so good! There were fresh fruits salad, cakes, omelets etc. It was very quiet and very well located. Staff had great advice on places to visit. I definitely recommend this hotel!

    Nothing

Large, attractive common areas and well furnished, comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast, everything is spotless, and the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. Location is off the beaten path so quiet but easy walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the waterfront.

The only slight suggestion I can offer is that the wifi connection was slow. And yet, that might have been something from my end such as my phone.

Excellent value for the money. Central location. During our entire stay, we walked everywhere - from the transportation depot to meet a trolley tour to the Cliff Walk. The room was comfortable and stylish. A sitting room was attached, which was a pleasant spot to read. The included breakfast was delicious and ample. All staff was professional, helpful, and friendly.

Our only slight downside was the size of the room.

The hosts were extremely helpful and catered very well for my gluten free allergy at breakfast. We were made to feel welcome and they were very helpful on advising where to go and what to see in the local area. The decor of the hotel was super, really refreshing.

A wonderful hotel in a convenient central location for walking to Cliff Walk, the mansions, and the wharf. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and eager to share ideas of what to see and do around Newport. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices in a single serving style buffet. A welcomed addition was the convinient free parking either next to or adjacent to the hotel in open lots alleviating the hassle of finding a spot in the already scarce parking situation around Newport.

I would have liked an elevator to my 3rd floor room BUT I knew this when I booked and staff did offer to carry our luggage up to our room. Had a tough time turning the shower faucet totally off but staff was very responsive to my comment.

Lovely and charming hotel in great location. Good for walking to Cliff Walk and mansions. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The rooms and bathroom were good sized for an old hotel and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Only negative if you have any issue with stairs is that there is no elevator to ascend to the 2nd or 3rd floor. Just a consideration when booking a room if you need an elevator. Breakfast offered a varied array of good quality food in a buffet, single serving style. Loved that free parking was easy and either next to or adjacent to the hotel in open lots.

The Attwater was amazing and I can't find fault with anything.

The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious with a cosy gas fireplace in the large lounge area and a wonderfully large bedroom. Peter was a delight to chat with and was also a fount of information about the local area. He provided us with great recommendations for restaurants and sights. The morning breakfast was gourmet quality with lots of interesting dishes.

I didn’t like the bedroom in the front of the building as the windows were huge. we had to pull shades down which made the room darker during the day. Our shower was also dripping all day and night and couldn’t get it to stop.

it was well kept and looks exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. we liked they served a mini breakfast to snack on and had tea available after hours. It was a great location close to the Wharf and Cliff Walk.
