Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe front desk service was horrible. She was refusing us service because she messed up on her end of the computer and made us calling booking our selfs. When we said she booking sent her a confirmation email she refused to look at it. When we wanted to check out at 10am she was not on the property. To use the hotels internet we had to be in the lobby room because the internet did not reach our room.
It has a very good location and it was very easy to get to and was in a central stop for our visit. The room was very clean when we entered our hotel room. Over all the stay was very good.

United StatesHotel was listed as having free Wi-Fi, but it's not available to the entire motel. No vending machines, and ice machine is kept in the office, so not easily accessible.
The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the owner was very welcoming and friendly.

United Statesthe person who owns the property is very racist, very rude and highly unprofessional. There is never anyone at the front desk for help when you come in, or even after you’ve checked in. There’s no vending machine, all snacks are expired. Guest should not and do not want to hear about bedroom activities or sex life of the person checking them in. smells like cigarettes smoke typically and a lot of drug traffic. should not know that your last housekeeper used and you kept the drugs on property. would not recommend having kids stay here ever.

Nothing it was a bed to sleep in after checking for bed bugs the toilet was a child size toilet really short....It was close to our destination we traveled every day, Thats about it.

Staff was pleasant. The room was clean but the linen was horrible! Stained, well used bath towels, we didn't use the blankets, they smelled bad and clearly had not been washed for quite some time.
