We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesUpon arriving, there were families coming in for the kids hocky teams in town for the weekend. There was a continuous flow of guest. The front desk receptionist ignored my presence as I waited to be checked in, checking in others that came in after me. I left and came back later. The kids were in and out of the rooms, closing doors, running the halls as well as the parents. We were surrounded by it all weekend. We had kids up over us running across the floor and the room was right outside of the parking lot so families and friends were engaging in conversation right outside our window. I dont blame the kids at all. Kids are going to be kids. This was suppose to be a quiet anniversary getaway. It was not! I asked the front desk receptionist if there was another room we could possibly have to get away from the noise. Her words were apologetic but her demeanor spoke otherwise. She stated, No! The look she gave me was a bit unexpected. I saw her interaction with others and she seemed fine. Anyhow, I would think that hotels would try to accommodate all the guest as best as possible. The parking lot was not full of vehicles. So I would have thought thee would be one room available to escape the continuous activity. Not sure how I feel about returning to this hotel at the moment.
The room was clean and in order. The bed could have been more neatly presented.

United StatesUnfortunately, when I arrived to check in I was notified by the front desk agent that a cash deposit of $250 is required for local residents who stay at the hotel. This is quite an insult to a guest who is already required to give their credit card information at check in. Also, I don't carry cash on me so I had to leave the hotel and go to the bank to get this "required cash deposit". I'm not sure how many guests usually have cash on them in this credit card world. So, this is very inconvenient. Then, in the morning, the hotel lost power around 8:00am. So, unfortunately I was unable to use anything in my room that needed required electricity. I wasn't even able to contact the front desk via the phone to find out what was happening. At this point, I thought it best to just pack up and leave. When I arrived at the front desk, I was greeted with a wonderful staff trying their best to work in a situation out of their control. I was told I wouldn't be able to check out due to the power outage. But, I would receive an email once the power was restored. Thankfully, I was able to get my cash deposit back after requesting it, because the receipt showing proof I left the deposit was in the unusable computer.
The front desk personnel were wonderful, considering the issues that I dealt with at check in and check out. Also, the breakfast was delicious.

United StatesI was really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but it looked like it was permanently closed. Also the heater in our room was turned off, so it was quite chilly. I also feel the breakfast selection could have been better, no bread for toast of even yogurts.
Hotel was easy to find and the check-in process was quick. Our room was clean, along with the bathroom. Pool was nice and warm. Nice hotel for the price you pay.
