The booking experience was not too good. We booked from booking.com and when we arrived, we found the hotel staff double booked our room, and we had to wait for 2 hours to be switched to a smaller one, although it worked out in the end and we got a refund, but we had to wait in the heat, that was not too pleasant. The continental breakfast is a joke, just some bagels, coffee, bananas, oranges and yogurt.

Like the location, very close to the Pier 60, that is the main reason that we booked this hotel, but it turned out to be unnecessary as it is too far to walk to the pier anyway, and since you have to drive there, why not find somewhere cheaper and bigger. But I do like the free on-site parking that is a bonus for staying at Clearwater. We like the kitchen, although it is not a full kitchen, but it get things done. Staff is friendly, I had a chance to talk to the front desk staff and the manager to solve a problem, they get things handled quickly and professionally.

We were hanging out at the pool not even in the pool, we were SILENT. A lady came out and told us we need to leave.

It was clean. The room was impossible to get into. I had to slam into my door and lift it up to get in.

when we booked this many months ago, it listed a gym was on site but when we arrived, we were told the gym was already moved to the new hotel they are building sev doors down. The new hotel isn’t being completed until at least Oct so why take away the gym so soon? guest still could have enjoyed it.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable.

The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating! They helped in any way possible, even short staffed. House keeping was incredibly friendly and the front desk would help with any issue.

A/C wasn't cooling, but it was humid!! We weren't in the room that much, so our stay was acceptable. Toilet flushed, sink drained, shower worked, that's all we cared about.

No breakfast, available. Coffee It's just a dated property, they've made patches in walls, sliding door was off track or stuck. Room 205. Unregistered youth attempted to take over pool area, management did put a stop to that!! Door keys wouldn't work, had to get 4 different keys during our stay.

The service and amenities continue to decline. The phones in the room do not work, and the front desk attendant said that most of them don't. While there, I checked the price of some of the upper-scale hotels nearby and found them cheaper than Beachview. I was shocked to learn that I could have stayed in a much more updated place for longer based on what I paid. The facility needs updating. The provided breakfast was individually wrapped bagels or muffins. I didn't feel like customer service was a top priority.

The location is wonderful and why we continue to go back year after year. This is the 4th time I have stayed here

The place needs a little upgrade. The first night I woke up at 2 am and there were termites dropping their wings near the sink light. The desk man said it’s the time of year for them. I cleaned it up.

The location was perfect. Everything within walking distance. We loved looking at the gulf from our balcony.

Restrooms by swimming pool very dirty.

Staff very friendly, hotel has seen better days and could do with a refurbish but this is reflected in the price. Overall a good stay and would probably return.
