The driveway entrances and exits can be tough if you have a low clearance vehicle.

Location is pretty good for visiting the desert. There a quite a few restaurants nearby. Breakfast was quite good.

The location was ideal as a mid-point from San Jose to Joshua Tree and as a last minute booking, I was so impressed. The receptionist was friendly upon late night check-in. Parking was in a well-lit area right outside the rooms. I read the reviews regarding the train passing at night, but we had the AC fan on so we actually didn't hear them. The room was sparkling clean, roomy and comfortable with a relatively big mini fridge. The beds at Best Western are great if you like the medium firm type of mattress. The breakfast was buffet style where you could make your own pancakes accompanied by a variation of marmalade and jams. The breakfast lady consistently checked the area to keep it clean and topped up the crunchy bacon, coffee and scrambled eggs. Upon checking out, I asked the receptionist about how to go to the Spaceport which was nearby. Both the receptionist and manager was really helpful in providing those tips which was much appreciated. This place was more accommodating than a-lot of places that were supposed to be higher end.

Didn’t have the breakfast. Not much you can do about the location right on Route 14. But I was in the back so street and train noise wasn’t a problem. I like it that it is right next to a Dennys restaurant that could walk to.

staff cleaning the pool very early (before 7am) were very loud and inconsiderate of guests directly next to the pool area. Not ideal to be woken early. No lift also a pain.

The toilets were very low and were hard for me to sit on and get off of. The shower took forever to get warm and didn't stay consistent.

The room was large & comfy with enough room for 2 chairs & small table, chair& ottoman & 2 queen beds without feeling crowded. Comfortable beds. Air conditioner worked fantastic! Had all the extra amenities in room such as coffee maker, iron & board, microwave & fridge. We had breakfast every morning and waffles were excellent. Bacon very thin, sausage yucky, toaster didn't brown waffles. Maybe have a sign with instructions in bigger print for people with bad eyes. But nice savings not to have to pay for breakfast out. Nice to not have to worry about roaches or bedbugs! All of the outer areas were clean. Garage area clean and no smell. No loud guests 😀

There was a lilltle confusion about our reservation that was solved up. The room is a bit worn and would need a refreshment, it was clean though. The aircondition was old a quite noisy.

Hot water took a long time to come out of shower. The sink was somewhat clogged, as it started to back only a few seconds after running water. It also smelled like sulfur when the water backed up. But it wasn't too bad. It eventually drained and the smell went away.

Clean room, nice accommodating staff. Easy check in. Good breakfast. Fair price for what you get.

A little expensive, perhaps, for basically a motel along a very busy highway with a railroad running past.
