How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Asked for handicap room and very pleased with ease of access from parking at the door and straight in to room. Large bathroom to accommodate a wheel chair if needed. Comfortable bed, clean and very pleasant staff. Large selection for a continental breakfast which was attended by a staff member and large eating area unlike other hotels that only have a few tables

I did not like that housekeeping came into the room while we were gone. Especially after I asked her if she needed in there while I was here. An outlet by the bed to be able to charge your phone by the night stand without having to unplugging the light.
The experience was overall good.

The continental breakfast was just packaged foods. We would have liked a real breakfast buffet, not just prepackaged things.

Breakfast had good variety of cold items, no hot foods except instant oatmeal, bread/bagels, packaged frozen waffles/pancakes and sausage.
Room was clean and smelled good. Spa and pool were accessible until 11pm. Price was great. Liked the breakfast hours 7-10. Nice courtyard with corn hole and tic tac toe games. Close to downtown shopping. Had exercise and game room. Dining room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Would rebook next trip.

Some lights didn't work when we came in. Key card had to be switched to work.

Breakfast is really only continental but sufficient considering the low price of our stay.
It was clean and had many areas we could gather with other family and visit or play games indoors and outdoors.

The only thing that wasn't great was we had problems with our room key not being programed correctly several times, but that wasn't a negative toward the hotel.
The continental breakfast was great, lots of choices! Clean room, great shower and soft towels. Pool looked great but unfortunately was not open yet.

The room was probably the only issue i had. Beds are a little harder than i remember any of them. Bathroom seemed old but clean. The carpets need a major cleaning. Had to walk in my socks, And the room had a bad musty smell. Had to burn a candle. But other than that, its the only place i stay.
I love the location and solitude, the safe feeling on the grounds and how clean the grounds are, Have stayed there atleast 6 times in the past 5 years, even when it was under a different name.

The staff are really nice! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. They had fruit, yogurt and other snacks. However, they also had these awesome "breakfast bars" that were ham/egg/cheese and they also had breakfast bagels that were bacon/egg/cheese. Both of those were delicious. The location is also very convenient as it's very close to downtown Eureka Springs and close to the trolley that will take you around Eureka Springs. We truly enjoyed our time there. We would stay there again and we recommend it to others!

No freezer unit in fridge to refreeze ice packs for coolers for travelers.
Beautiful Victorian-ish lobby & breakfast area. Room was nice, bed comfy. Rain and cooler weather came thru but warm floors made it comfy

I honestly can't think of a single thing.
This is the first hotel I've stayed in in my entire life that the features I paid for (in this case the in-room jacuzzi) matched the pictures of the website exactly. I got exactly what I paid for and it was so great. I also fully expected a terrible hotel breakfast, but I was astonished to see that it was actually an incredible, high-quality selection. The location was the best part - I could literally round the corner and I'm a short walk to town.

The beds were too high. Very hard getting onto the bed. I did expect more hot food choices for breakfast.
