Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesReal yogurt. Not-so-sweet cereal .. more care in prepping foods .. some nuts to eat with oatmeal would be nice.
Breakfast burrito tasted bad like someone had not rinse off the utensil. I smelled Ajax cleanser after first bite. That was gross 🤮. Cereals are all too sweet & the yogurt machine spew out something other than yogurt. It tasted strange & artificial. I don’t drink coffee but my brother loves your coffee. He did not eat anything else. The staff are nice & helpful.

United StatesThe entire hotel — lobby, hallways, room — smelled like marijuana. Less so in the rooms but it was very strong in lobby and hallways. It was hard to breathe and caused coughing. The spa bath was neat, but the paint inside it was peeling and the jets were dirty. So we paid almost $300 and didn’t even want to use the bath. The shower soap dispensers were a cool feature, but the body wash and conditioner were empty.
The gentleman at the front desk was kind and efficient.

United StatesFridge was turned off and full of water with white mold floating in the freezer water. Could not use it. Contacted the staff that rapidly came and turned it back on and wiped it out, but it still didn’t get very cold. The microwave was from the 1980s microwave sounded like it was going to blow up so we decided not to use it. Looks like something from Back To The Future. Bathroom was somewhat clean counter tops looks like they needed some better cleaning. Poorly thought out electrical on night stand drilled a power block in the center of the night stand hard to put anything on the night stand especially if you are a cpap user like me. I needed a nightstand to put it on. Refund of some of my stay would be nice or at least credit for a stay at best western for a future stay. The quality did not meet my best western standards.
Outside looked good. Lobby looked good. Tv and channels were good.
