How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

That we were awakened by a screaming fire alarm at 4:22am, when in fact there was no fire or emergency.
We didn’t have time for breakfast because we had an early flight to return to Alaska. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were small and thin.

Breakfast was sparse… within 30 minutes of opening breakfast, most everything was gone leaving only dry cereal and juice. No front desk staff from 630-730 am - no reason why. No one restocking breakfast. Despite no smoking floor, the hallway and stairwells reeked of marijuana - either that or someone’s pet skunk died. Shuttle driver took over one hour to pick us up and it took two phone calls to get picked up. Saw other shuttles come by twice in time for driver to show up. No excuse again. Driver didn’t speak any English. Took forever for front desk to pick up phone when we called for pick up twice.
Location was good. Nice facilities with outdoor pool and hot tub and gym. Room was nice. Showing some wear and tear, but comfortable bed and spacious room. Quiet. We were on the second floor.

The lamp fixtures were rusted and didn't work therefore you had to unplug a lamp to charge phone and computer one at at time. antiquated for 2024.
Close to airport and the shuttle back-and-forth to the airport. Close to breakfast spot.

I appreciate the shutle from the airport and the staff who was very helpfull. Hotel is a bit outdated but still fine for one night accomodation between flights.

Only one restaurant within walking distance for an evening meal. Breakfast had limited options. Lighting in the room was not adequate for doing any work.
The hotel suited us very well. We had an accessible room and the set up was excellent. Wide doors, accessible shower was very good. Room clean and spacious. Very close to airport with good shuttle service.

Only thing that could have been better was letting us know there was a deposit fee. also maybe having air refreshers because there is a slight smoke smell on premises
Hotel was clean and all of the cleaning service team where nice. The main thing i am always checking is when the cleaning service team clean your room and are respectful and do not touch your belongings.

Cleanliness was lacking a bit, had to ask for another room as the first one given was not yet cleaned (dirty sheets piled on chair, floor not vacuumed) but the new room that was given was nice!
Easy to get picked up by shuttle and taken back to airport, great for an overnight transfer!

Room could have been a little bit cleaner, it’s a bit worn down especially the outside of the room door and the hallway. This didn’t affect our stay though, just an observation. The airport shuttle driver did not speak English which made it a bit challenging to meet him, but we were able to find an airport employee who spoke Spanish and was able to direct us to find where he was parked. He was very friendly and apologetic and again it did not affect our stay!
Great value for an overnight transfer. The room was nice, comfy beds, and staff were all very friendly and did their best to accommodate! The breakfast bar was nice and well stocked. Coffee was great!

If I can do a recommandation to the manager: send an e-mail to every client who books a night, with the phonenumber to call and the place to go, where the shuttle will pick you up (at the airport) it will be much easier, and you will have less questions. Also, sorry to say, but the guy who worked in the morning, wasn’t friendly at all, he prefered to rather not answer the questions you had… and it seamed like he was in a bad morning mood. Not feeling very comfortable with this.
Free airportshuttle was easy, although you have to know what to do or where to go and you have to call upon arrival! Room was clean (with carpet), bathroom was good and with everything you need! Breakfast basic, but okay! Some shops and restaurants nearby, walking distance…
